Gang Rape A Girl, Get A Slap On The Wrist; Help Convict Them? 16 years In Jail

http://img01.ibnlive.in/ibnkhabar/uploads/2015/12/Rape-Cases.jpg

Some of you might remember the Steubenville, Ohio rape case, where an underage girl who was drugged and unconscious was gang raped. A video of the rape went viral, complete with some of the party goers laughing hysterically over her being 'so raped' and  'dead.'

http://cdn.theatlanticwire.com/img/upload/2013/03/12/steubenville-instagram.jpg

The story is also notable because the perpetrators, or at least the two we know about were members of the popular high school football team and there was an effort at a coverup by the school because of that.

The two football players, Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond, pictured above were only convicted because of the efforts of hacker Deric Losutter, who hacked into the Steubenville High School sports fan website and revealed incriminating evidence against two rapists and three others who may or may not have also participated and kept silent except for swapping obscene Instagram comments among themselves along the lines of ''no pity for whores' and how 'some whores deserve to be p*ssed on.'

Faced with also being prosecuted, the other three were given immunity to testify.

The duo's lawyer, one Walter Madison actually tried to make the case this was consensual because "She didn't affirmatively say no."

"The person who is the accuser here is silent just as she was that night, and that's because there was consent," he said.

Of course, as the judge pointed out, consent wasn't an issue since the girl was a minor and others testified that she was unconscious while all this was going on. But then, most defense lawyers usually aren't burdened much with morals and ethics...let alone concerned with the truth unless it provides a loophole of escape for their clients.

Richmond and Mays were convicted of the rape of a minor, but aside from some harsh words from the judge, nothing really happened to the two rapists. Ma'lik Richmond was back to playing football for Steubenville just a few days after serving only 10 months out of a one-year sentence in a juvenile detention facility. And Trent Mays spent just two years behind bars for the rape, but that didn't stop him from getting admitted to Ohio’s Hocking College and playing varsity college football there.

The real criminal, the one who felt the full force of the law on his back? Deric Losutter, the one the actually unearthed the evidence that convicted the rapists and got the others to plea bargain. The FBI raided Lostutter’s home and, then arrested and indicted him on four counts: three counts of unauthorized access to a computer used for privacy breach and one count of making a false statement to the FBI.

He's facing 16 years in prison. Lostutter’s lawyer, Tor Ekeland, says that the harsh sentence is based on the 1986 the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, or CFAA. It was originally only supposed to cover actual criminal activity, but it's been extended out of all proportion from its original intent and beefed up quite a bit, perhaps as a lesson to the activities of whistleblowers and the WikiLeaks phenomenon.

Yes, Losutter apparently had some involvement with Anonymous, a group for which I admittedly don't have too much sympathy for reasons I needn't go into. But one of the primary object of criminal justice used to be to determine who had been harmed.

Now, we've it seems we're returning to an earlier time, when justice is doled out unequally as a given, and a primary objective is simply to serve as an example pour encourager les autres, a warning to keep the peasants in line.

Can we blame this on the regime of President Obama? Of course we can. It's under his administration, particularly at the Federal level that the idea of justice being politicized and perverted depending on who it's aimed at has taken off on steroids.

A fish rots from the head.

Pat Condell: Europe’s Betrayal of Women

As usual Pat Condell tells it like it is. Europe is literally in the process of becoming a place where women are prey.

After Question About Mr. Bill, Hillary Lashes Out At Rape Survivor

This pretty much speaks for itself. Aside from showing off Mrs. Clinton's incredible hypocrisy, the best part is when the shameless CNN shill tries to brand this woman, New Hampshire State Rep. Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien as irrelevant because she's a Republican.

With tears in her eyes, she lets him know that she used to be a Democrat but became a Republican for this very reason, because as a rape survivor herself the issue is not former President Clinton's infidelity but Mrs. Clinton's role in bullying Mr. Bill's victims into silence...while posing as a women's candidate and saying all rape victims should be believed.

'What Thy Right Hand Possesses' - The Rape of Kayla Mueller

According to people loosely identified by ABC as 'counter terrorism officials' American captive Kayla Mueller was repeatedly tortured and made a sex slave by the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Mueller's family confirmed to ABC News that government officials have told them that their daughter, who would have turned 27 today, was the victim of repeated sexual assaults by al-Baghdadi.

"We were told Kayla was tortured, that she was the property of al-Baghdadi. We were told that in June by the government," Kayla's parents, Carl and Marsha Mueller, told ABC News today.

Al-Baghdadi, an Iraqi who calls himself "Caliph" as ruler of the Islamic State, personally brought the enslaved 26-year-old humanitarian aid worker from Prescott, Arizona, to be imprisoned inside the home of Abu Sayyaf, a Tunisian in charge of oil and gas revenue for the group, counter-terrorism officials have told ABC News over the past several months.

"Baghdadi was at the house of Sayyaf. He delivered Kayla Mueller, live and in person," one of several counter-terrorism officials briefed on the case told ABC News.

These counter-terrorism officials claim they got this information from debriefings of at least least two Yezedi teenage girls who were also held as sex slaves in the Sayyaf compound as well as from the interrogation of Abu Sayyaf's wife Umm Sayyaf, who was captured in a U.S. raid. Kayla Mueller was reportedly killed by a Jordanian air strike last February.

The first thing that occurs to me is that it was incredibly cruel for the Obama Administration to tell Ms. Mueller's family these horrific details. Does any parent ever want to know that their abducted child died in pain and torment? Isn't it enough to know that they'll never see their loved one again?

I have a feeling the release of this news via ABC in this fashion is not coincidental. As I write this, President Barack Hussein Obama is arming and training a Syrian force known as 'The Army of Conquest' to fight ISIS and then Assad. The Army of Conquest (Jaish al Fata) is primarily composed of jihadis drawn from al Nusra and other Islamist groups, and the strategy Obama is pursuing is exactly how ISIS got started, as a part of the Free Syrian Army that this president  armed and trained in connivance with Qatar and Turkey without the knowledge of congress. Having built up one terrorist army and seen it go out of control and become ISIS, President Obama is now building up a second one to fight the first..ignoring the possibility that ISIS and Jaish al Fata might decide to join forces against Assad and the infidels. It might very well be that releasing a news story of this kind is designed to encourage the American people to pick sides and to embrace the Iran deal, with Hezboallah and Iran considered our new 'allies.' The Ayatollah Khameinei has said repeatedly that while Iran might fight ISIS on its own accord at a time of its choosing, the Iranians and their allies are definitely not going to operate in any sort of alliance with the  Great Satan. This, even though we're still arming Hezbollah and they're showing off their American weapons to the American advisers they're sharing bases with in Iraq.

If this seems like an insane 3 ring circus with the Obama Administration arming and training both sides of this conflict and no clear direction or strategy in mind, you get no argument from me. You can't make this stuff up.

Another thing to consider...while as usual the Obama Administration is carefully steering away from even mentioning the word 'Islam' it is worth knowing that this behavior is religiously sanctified by sharia and  the Qu'ran,  in verse 33.50 ("O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee" Pikthal translation) as well as 23.5-6. 4.24 and numerous other places.

This is not to say that all Muslims are rapists of non-Muslim women or that non-Muslims never rape captive women. But only in Islam is it religiously sanctified. The Bible actually forbids such practices and was the first recorded document to give women in that situation any rights at all, as laid out in Leviticus. But based on the Qu'ran, what happened to Ms. Mueller, a captive, is fully in accord with sharia. Mohammed himself took many sex slaves.

President Obama is bringing a lot of Muslims into America via diversity visas and refugee asylum programs similar to Europe's from countries like Syria, Somalia, Pakistan and other countries where sharia law based on the Qu'ran is practiced and the traditional cultures are built around these beliefs, including honor killings and FGM ( female genital mutilation).

Ironically enough, Kayla Mueller, who was something of a career activist actually worked for a while with the pro-terrorism International Solidarity Movement, whom supports the Palestinian Authority and Hamas where these practices occur with distressing regularity.

At last count, something like 800,000 Muslims have entered the US under these programs since Barack Obama took office and the screening has been fairly minimal. As I write this, another surge of refugees to America is being planned for Syrian Muslims by the Obama Administration with screening done not by our FBI but by the UN.

Europe has seen major problems develop by importing huge amounts of Muslims, many of whom are not at all compatible with European culture, are disproportionately on public assistance, want to impose sharia in their new home countries, and strongly resist assimilation. Crime among Muslim refugees in Europe is rampant, especially rapes involving Muslim males and non-Muslim females. For example, Stockholm, Sweden, once relatively crime free for a city its size has experienced a 300% increase in crime since it began importing substantial numbers of Muslim refugees into the country. Rapes have increased to the point where Sweden is one of the rape capitols of the world, with the second highest number of rapes per capita of any country on earth.

The vast majority of these rapes are committed by Muslim immigrants or their teenage sons whom may hardly think of these infidel women as anything more than 'what thy right hand possesses.'

Whether we want to change America in this fashion is a conversation the Obama Administration refuses to even consider, but I think it's a conversation we deserve to have as a nation, and sooner rather than later.

All human beings are equal, but cultures are not.As Kayla Mueller discovered too late, she wasn't in Arizona anymore.

CBS: Rape Doesn't Qualify As A 'Physical Injury'

http://wemeantwell.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/hypocrisy.jpg

This one is jaw dropping even for one of the Alphabet networks.

CBS in the San Francisco Bay area ran a horrendous story about a Domino's Pizza delivery woman who was kidnapped and raped in broad daylight while making a delivery in Antioch, a small suburb of Oakland in Contra Costa County.

An armed man described as a juvenile pulled a gun on her, forced her to drive to a secluded spot and then raped her. To show you how brilliant the perpetrator was, after the assault was reported, the police were able to arrest him easily - at the same home where he had asked for the pizza to be delivered.

But the last part of this story is what caught my eye:

Domino’s spokesman Tim McIntyre said the company is “shocked and horrified by what happened.”

McIntyre said the company will give the employee whatever support she needs. It was not immediately known if she was physically injured.

This poor woman was forcibly raped, and CBS doesn't know if she was physically injured?

Being raped doesn't qualify as a physical injury, no matter what else she might have been subjected to? Is 'aw, she was just raped, it's not like she was physically injured' CBS's viewpoint nowadays?

I point this out because the reporters on this network have repeatedly run stories bloviating about 'rape culture' and  'the Republican's war on women.' Funny, but I've never seen  any thing this insensitive towards rape victims on say, FOX.

The hypocrisy on display is amazing.

New Bill Demands Explicit Written or Verbal Consent For Sex On College Campuses

http://images.sodahead.com/polls/002047001/3937832731_woman_kissing_man_answer_3_xlarge.jpeg

Where else but in California?

SB 967, written by state Sen. Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles) demands that a couple stop in the middle of the festivities to obtain "an affirmative, unambiguous, and conscious decision by each participant to engage in mutually agreed-upon sexual activity."

According to the language of the bill, "consent must be ongoing throughout a sexual encounter, and can be revoked at any time. The existence of a dating relationship between the persons involved, or the fact of past sexual relations between them, should never by itself be assumed to be an indicator of consent."

So........according to this new law, a couple needs to engage in a detailed discussion before lovemaking each and every time, married or not. Talk about a mood killer! Also, since 'verbal consent' is a matter of he said, she said in a court of law and people have been known to lie, any male (and of course, that's who this bill is directly aimed at) including husbands with a decent amount of brain cells to rub together is going to get that consent in writing, just in case. Smart men will come equipped not only with condoms, but with pre-printed forms, perhaps with a checklist. Or perhaps with small video recorders or digital cameras to record consent.

Of course, even a consent form or a video isn't sufficient really, according to the bill. If consent
"can be revoked at any time" and a past relationship between a couple is not deemed to signify consent, a woman can always claim she revoked consent after she signed the form or said 'yes' on camera..say, a week or so later after the guy dumps her for a hot cheerleader. And yes, there are plenty of examples of exactly this sort of thing happening, especially now that colleges have abandoned the legal standard of a burden of proof and use the far more subjective and flexible standard of the 'preponderance of evidence' in these matters.

In fact, the bill actually places the burden of proof on the accused in a sexual assault case demonstrate they obtained at least verbal ‘affirmative consent’ before engaging in any sexual activity.Men apparently no longer have the right to be presumed innocent until found guilty when it comes to these proceedings.

This also significantly changes the legal definition of rape from being a violent act clearly against someone's will to merely being a non-violent act someone may not have explicitly consented to (returning caresses and kisses or 'yes, oh yes!' apparently doesn't count) verbally or in writing beforehand.

Of course, these non-verbal exchanges are exactly how a lot of romantic encounters occur. Foreplay? Better get that written consent form signed first.

Of course, this bill violates privacy rights as well as rights of due process and common sense, but that apparently is not a consideration for proponents of this bill. But it will never pass, right?

Wrong.

SB 967 passed the Democrat dominated California state senate by a vote of 27-9 and is now on its way to state assembly. Even more ominously, the entire University of California system has adopted a new iron clad policy that doesn't just mirror SB967 but requires affirmative consent not just for sex, but to every form of “physical sexual activity” engaged in! In other words, if you come back to your domicile at the end of the day and give your significant other a hug and a kiss, you'd better have that consent form at the ready.

Read or watch the film version of "1984" some time and pay attention to what happens to Winston Smith and Julia. We're just about there.

Chilling Video - Maduro's Venezuelan National Guard Abduct HS Girls Off The Street

It's not getting too much attention right now, but Hugo Chavez's successor Presdidente Nicolas Maduro is consolidating control with an iron hand and rewarding his followers the way dictators always do.

Venezuela itself is in dire economic straits after years of Chavez's 'Bolivarian revolution' mismanagement. Inflation is rampant, the currency is essentially worthless, and the standard of living is collapsing as the prices of staples are through the roof. People are only allowed one shopping trip per week, and ala' Cuba, many times they don't find much when they get there. When faced with massive protests led mainly by students and middle class, Maduro's response has been to b;same the U.S. and crack down...hard.

Oddly enough, I've yet to hear President Obama say 'Maduro must go' the way he talked about Mubarak...oh wait...this is a hard Left socialist dictatorship! Why would anyone even ask?

Update On Young Dutch Reporter Gang Raped In Egypt

Few more details have emerged on the Dutch reporter gang raped by at least five men in Cairo's Tahrir Square during the protests.

The 22-year old was apparently an intern taking pictures of the protests. As I mentioned before, she was badly injured and had to undergo surgery, but has now been repatriated back to the Netherlands.

Local news reports also claim that a grandmother and a seven-year-old child were sexually assaulted as well.

Last night Jeremy Bowen, the BBC’s Middle East editor, tweeted: “Sadly #tahrir revolutionary atmosphere of people behaving well with common purpose long gone. Sexual assault common. No cops in sight.”

There were 44 reports of sexual assaults and harassment on June 30th alone, according to
the Egyptian activist group Operation Anti-Sexual Harassment. Even if they're exaggerating the numbers, the Egyptian protests are obviously no safe place for women, and any news organization that sends a woman out to report on Egypt ought to be liable for contributory negligence.

What respect for women does anyone expect out of a Muslim society that performs clitorectomies and mutilates the genitalia of 90% of its female population?

SecDef Hagel And JCS Gen. Dempsey Implementing Plans To Put Women In The Front Lines

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey are in the process of implementing plans that will put women service members on the front lines in combat.

Under details of the plans obtained by The Associated Press, women could start training as Army Rangers by mid-2015 and as Navy SEALs a year later.

The military services have mapped out a schedule that also will include reviewing and possibly changing the physical and mental standards that men and women will have to meet in order to quality for certain infantry, armor, commando and other front-line positions across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel reviewed the plans and has ordered the services to move ahead.

The move follows revelations of a startling number of sexual assaults in the armed forces. Earlier this year, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said the sexual assaults might be linked to the longstanding ban on women serving in combat because the disparity between the roles of men and women creates separate classes of personnel - male "warriors" versus the rest of the force.{...}

The military services are also working to determine the cost of opening certain jobs to women, particularly aboard a variety of Navy ships, including certain submarines, frigates, mine warfare and other smaller warships. Dozens of ships do not have adequate berthing or facilities for women to meet privacy needs, and would require design and construction changes.

The Obama Administration is already tossing thousands of battle hardened and experienced warriors out of the service to 'cut costs'. Apparently a number of them are going to be replaced with women without experience on the front lines of combat in the name of political correctness.

As for Dempsey's comments on sexual assaults in the military, how ridiculous they are can be determined by the stats on homosexual rape in the military, which is a significant part of the increase.

 military_s220x390

More military men than women are sexually abused in the ranks each year, a Pentagon survey shows, highlighting the underreporting of male-on-male assaults.

When the Defense Department released the results of its anonymous sexual abuse survey this month and concluded that 26,000 service members were victims in fiscal 2012, which ended Sept. 30, an automatic assumption was that most were women. But roughly 14,000 of the victims were male and 12,000 female, according to a scientific survey sample produced by the Pentagon.

“It appears that the DOD has serious problems with male-on-male sexual assaults that men are not reporting and the Pentagon doesn’t want to talk about,” Elaine Donnelly, who heads the Center for Military Readiness, said. She noted that only 2 percent of assailants are women.

Now that gays can openly serve in the military, I wouldn't be surprised to see those stats increase, no matter how the Pentagon tries to hide it.

They will undoubtedly increase for women as well as the New Politically Correct Military rushes to put women on the front lines of combat. Aside from the additional risks women will face if they're taken prisoner, (particularly by adherents of Islam...'what thy right hand possesses'), the very nature of combat conditions themselves and the close quarters they involve will lead to increased sexual assaults, pregnancies on the front lines and decreased unit cohesion as various troops couple, decouple and rearrange.

Not only that, but it will lead to increased casualties because of the lowering of standards and because most men are genetically programmed to take risks to rescue women in peril...especially if there's a sexual or romantic connection between them.

Welcome to the Left's deconstruction of the US military.

‘House of Horrors’: Kidnapped Sex Slaves Held in Chains by School Bus Driver

Amanda Berry (left); Ariel Castro (center); Gina DeJesus (right)

Three women who had been held captive as sex slaves, raped repeatedly and held for over ten years were rescued today from what's being described as a 'house of horrors' in Cleveland, Ohio.

Amanda Berry was 16 when she was kidnapped in 2003, Gina DeJesus was 14 when she disappeared in 2004, and Michelle Knight was 18 when she went missing in 2002. Police have arrested the homeowner, Ariel Castro, 52, who worked as a school bus driver as well as his two brothers,Pedro Castro, 54 and Onil Castro, 50.

Chains and bondage equipment were reportedly found in the basement of the home at 2207 Seymour Avenue.

The women were rescued when one of the women, Amanda Berry managed to free herself from her restraints and called out to a neighbor, Charles Ramsey, who kicked the door down and helped her escape:

“I’m not the only one on the block that feels ashamed to know that we didn’t notice anything,” neighbor Juan Perez told Cleveland ABC-TV affiliate News 5. “He was a nice guy, he would come around and say hi. He gave the kids rides up and down the street on his four-wheeler.”

The three women have been released from a hospital where they were taken for treatment. At least one of the girls gave birth to a daughter while in captivity; the child is reportedly 6 years old.

I can only imagine how these women felt, seeing the sun foir the first time after ten years.

Ten years...my heart goes out to them.

'Think Progress' Lefty Female Blogger Cited By Police For Making Phony Rape Threat To Herself

Meg Lanker-Simons is a well known paid shill for the Soros-funded Think Progress,  as a radio host at the University of Wyoming (UW) and on her own blog, Cognitive Dissonance (no link, I don't want to give her traffic).

Apparently that wasn't enough attention for her, so she decided to manufacture some more by putting up a phony rape threat on a college “crush” Facebook page earlier this week and pretending it came from a 'conservative' :

"“I want to hate f**k Meg Lanker-Simons so hard. That chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn’t care who knows it,” it read.  “I think its hot and it makes me angry. One night with me and shes gonna be a good Republican bitch.”

Needless to say, Ms. Lanker-Simons got a lot of mileage out of this on her usual outlets.

Unfortunately for her, she took it way too far.

The University of Wyoming Police Department investigated, as they should have. And they ended up issuing a citation to Lanker-Simons for “interference” for “false statements she made to the UW Police Department,” according to a UW statement referred to by Laramie Boomerang Online.

"Subject admitted to making a controversial post on UW Crushes webpage and then lied about not doing it," according to the citation.

The University of Wyoming also said that the police had "obtained substantial evidence verifying that the offending Facebook post came from Lanker-Simons' computer, while the computer was in her possession.”

Below is a picture of Ms. Lanker-Simons :

http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/kowb1290.com/files/2013/04/Lanker-Simons3.jpg

This is no joke..if Lanker-Simons wasn't fairly stupid and had actually been able to frame someone credible, this could have had life changing consequences for one of her 'enemies'.

If a male student was even suspected of making a threat of this kind, even if there was no conclusive proof, he would have been summarily expelled, with little chance of ever getting into another university in the future.

Even worse, it might affect how seriously campus police investigate  a future rape threat and lead to another innocent woman being attacked.

Lanker-Simons got off with a citation. She should have been tossed out of the university on her ample derrière.

According to her Facebook page, Lanker-Simons is a member of the University of Wyoming Gender & Women's Studies group (of course!) as well as the school’s chapter of The Nonviolent Communist.

To give you an idea of how serious she is about that whole 'non-violence' thing, she was one of the plaintiffs in a successful 2010 lawsuit against the University of Wyoming when they rescinded an invitation to have domestic terrorist Bill Ayers speak on campus.

Of course, being a Leftist means never having to say you're sorry. So naturally, since she was outed as as an attention seeking liar, her supporters have put together a Facebook page entitled “Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent.”

"“Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent we believe what she did was justified and deserves not to be held accountable for her accusations we stand behind you sister”

You see, even if there wasn't an actual rape threat by an Evil Conservative.you know, there should have been. Just because, you know.

Video: Muslim Mob In Egypt Rapes Christian Woman In Broad Daylight

Truly heart rending. The mob screams "Nasara! Nasara! (Christians! Christians!) as they grab the screaming women ( there are two women, one who apparently is the younger woman's mother who tries to protect her but is brutally knocked out of the way). The mob then begins stripping the young woman and then follows up with triumphant yells of "Allahu akbar" (Allah is greatest) as the rape continues.

These are the people we keep giving jizya to and trying to appease and accommodate. That's as futile as this poor woman trying to escape her fate by appealing for mercy.

Watch YouTube pull this down in a flash.

Muslim Rapist Wins Court Appeal Citing 'Cultural Differences'

 http://www.pbs.org/pov/film-images/oath_bg_al-jihad_photo_file_2_1.jpg

Esmatullah Sharifi, 31, is an Afghan refugee who was given asylum in Australia and settled in Melbourne.

He was convicted of two counts of rape and given a 14 year non parole sentence.

The first rape was of an intoxicated teenager who had been separated from her friends outside a nightclub. Sharifi admitted driving around looking for a victim.

When he saw the victim, he pulled up, began talking to her and offered to drive her to the hotel where her friends had moved on to.

Then he drove off in a completely different direction. The teen became frightened and and texted her friends, but when Sharifi saw what she was doing, he took away her phone, drove to a dark, isolated street, put his hands around her neck and forced her to remove her clothes before raping her.

The second case involved a similar abduction and sexual assault of a woman on Christmas Eve, 2008, five days after Sharifi raped the teen.

The judge, Mark Dean in Melbourne, sentenced Sharif to 14 years of which he's going to have to serve a minumum of 11 years. He will likely be deported back to Afghanistan when he's served his sentence.

Except he may not serve his sentence at all.

He's been granted an appeal.

Sharifi's chief argument during his rape trials was that 'cultural differences' were responsible for the rapes and that, as a psychologist told the court he had an 'unclear concept of what constitutes consent in sexual relationships'.

Apparently this psychologist thinks kidnapping someone, forcing them to disrobe and then raping them while they're screaming 'no, no' is how dating is done is Afghanistan. Perhaps it is. At any rate, the courts have granted him an appeal on that basis.

The funny thing is that Sharifi's argument actually has some legitimacy, although it's no excuse for his actions.

As a product of Muslim culture, there is definitely a basis for Sharifi saying he's allowed to rape  non-Muslim women.

The Qu'ran is most definite that owning and using sex slaves is permissible:

If you fear that you will not act justly towards the orphans, marry such women as seem good to you, two, three, four; but if you fear you will not be equitable, then only one, or what your right hands owns; so it is likelier you will not be partial. (Qur'an 4:3)

This, along with Mohammed's conduct as recorded in the Hadiths is the basis for Muslim polygamy.Mohammed took numerous sex slaves, in some cases after they had seen their parents or husbands murdered in front of them. Hence 'orphans'.

'What your right hand owns' refers to war captives and sex slaves, and every major Islamic fiqh has interpreted it in that way. Here's Qu'rannic commentator Maulana Bulandshahri on the subject:

During Jihad (religion war), many men and women become war captives. The Amirul Mu’minin [leader of the believers, or caliph – an office now vacant] has the choice of distributing them amongst the Mujahidin [warriors of jihad], in which event they will become the property of these Mujahidin. This enslavement is the penalty for disbelief (kufr)

Notice the present tense, 'become' as opposed to 'became'. This view applies today and has never been abrogated in any way.

Moreover, since a number of prominent Islamic scholars and Qadis like the Muslim Brotherhood's Sheik Qaradawi and Egypt's Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni have declared that Muslims are waging jihad against Dar Harb, the infidel world in our present day, any infidel females a Muslim's 'right hand possesses are fair game:

.Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels….Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars--there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.

When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Qur’an 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point--there is no disagreement from any of them. [...] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.

(h/t, Jihad Watch)

Of course, it can even apply to Muslims if you have cooperative imams to declare them kufrs, non-believers. Just ask Muslim Bangladeshi women about the rape camps the Pakistani Army set up for them during the 1970's.

Even in Australia itself, Sheikh Taj Din al-Hilali, Australia most senior Muslim cleric excused Muslim gang rapists in Australia saying that women who chose not to cover themselves were asking to be raped, referring to them as 'uncovered meat'. Even many decent Muslims objected to that one and called for al-Hilali's deportation, but he has a lot of support from others and is still there.

So when Sharifi says that as a Muslim, he's allowed to 'own' and use Kufr women as he pleases, he's simply telling the truth about what his religion has taught him.Perhaps Australia and other western governments that encouraged wholesale importation of Muslim refugees and immigrants and are experiencing a huge increase in these types of crimes as a result ought to have considered that and been a bit more careful whom they let in.

When the British ruled India, the commander-in-chief was a man called General Sir Charles James Napier. During his tenure, Hindu priests complained to him about the British suppression of their custom of suttee, the ritual burning of widows on the deceased husband's funeral pyre.

General Sir Napier's reply is worth remembering:

This burning of widows is your custom; prepare the funeral pyre. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. You follow your customs, and we shall follow ours.

Rather than being so careful to do the politically correct dance,to wallow in appeasement, it might be much more useful for the West to insist that any and all immigrants granted the privilege of living in their countries realize that it involves honoring the host country's laws and cultural norms as well.

Instead of wasting time and money on a ridiculous appeal based on 'cultural differences', Sharifi ought to serve his sentence and deported back to his home country of  Afghanistan forthwith. The same should apply to  anyone else who thinks his or her cultural beliefs give them a license to act in that fashion.

Female Leftists In Gaza Aid Convoy Sexually Assaulted

Apparently it doesn't just happen in Tahrir Square in Cairo.

According to al-Guardian, three women who were part of a 10-vehicle convoy en route to Gaza that was held up in Benghazi because the Egyptians would not allow it to cross the border. The women were among a group of five British nationals who were kidnapped by some of the locals.

According to Abdul Barghathi, commander of preventative security in the Libyan defence ministry, the women had been sexually assaulted, but not raped. "There was no rape, just touching (sexual assault)," he said. "Because there is no British consulate here they were handed to the Turkish consulate."

The Brits are apparently on their way back home. It could easily have been worse, and perhaps they learned something

Benghazi these days is a place where the Libyan government, such as it is doesn't exist. Instead, different parts of the city are controlled by various militias. Ansar al-Sharia, the al-Qaeda militia who attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other American is in de facto control of most of the central part of the city.

It's not a place for ferenghi(foreigners) to hang out unless they're very careful and very well armed.

Lawyer's Defense of Gang Rapists: 'She Didn't Affirmatively Say No"

Yes, this is what America's law schools are teaching their students these days.

A alleged gang rape by football players in Steubenville, Ohio of a passed-out-drunk 16-year-old girl shocked the entire country, especially after a video went viral of one of the boys who was at the party where it occurred laughing and joking about how the victim was 'so raped' and referring to her as a 'dead girl'.

The words 'dead girl' are indicative of the victim's condition. She was so intoxicated that she was unable to walk and had to be carried from one party to another. In fact, the entire episode was recorded on cellphones, and one screen shot even shows the girl being carried into a bedroom by the two perpetrators by her hands and feet.

So how does Walter Madison, the attorney of one of the alleged perpetrators respond?

"She didn't affirmatively say no."

"The person who is the accuser here is silent just as she was that night, and that's because there was consent," he said.

He claims that the sex was consensual...even though the girl is involved is underage and has no memory of what occurred. She and her parents only found out what happened after the cell phone videos surfaced on the internet some months later.

Because of the time lag between the crime and its discovery, there's also no way of knowing whether the victim was excessively drunk or whether her drink was spiked with Rohypnol, GHB or some of the other substances used for the purpose of rendering someone defenseless for this kind of assault.Nor does it matter, really.

Ohio Associate Attorney General Marianne Hemmeter said at an October hearing: 'The state doesn't have to prove that she was flat-lined.'

'Everybody agrees she's puking. She's puking on herself. People have to help her walk. She can't talk. She's stumbling,' Hemmeter added.

As one teen witness who was there testified, "I wouldn't say she was passed out but she wasn't there to say yes or no."

Those witnesses are another interesting aspect. Only two football players were charged, Ma'Lik Richmond, 16, and Trent Mays, 17. There may have been others involved, and at least 3 other boys were along for the ride, and rather than trying to stop it they pulled out their cellphones and took video and photos of what was going on.While the Steubenville police were able to confiscate the cell phones as evidence, a number of photos had been deleted and were not able to be recovered. Richmond and Hays are the only ones who are implicated in the ones that remain.

All of the other three boys agreed to cooperate and testify - provided they weren't charged with anything aside from being pretty sorry examples of manhood. Which fortunately for them isn't actionable.

The attitude of the attorney, Walter Madison particularly sickens me. I understand he has been hired to put on a defense, but to say the victim 'didn't affirmatively say no' in these circumstances is a new low.But very indicative of how far the standards of the legal profession have fallen.

Since Ma'Lik Richmond is black and the victim was not, I would not be at all surprised if the race card was played on appeal.

Fortunately, this trial has been played out before Judge Thomas Lipps, rather than a jury. Lipps is a visiting judge who has no ties to the community and extensive experience with juvenile crime.

The ruling is expected next week.

Dem to Rape Survivor: " A Gun Wouldn’t Have Helped You"

At issue is a Colorado bill that would make all college campuses fair game for rape and murder - or to use the Left's euphemism, 'a gun free zone'.

Rape survivor Amanda Collins testified before the Colorado legislature against this in favor of changing the laws to allow concealed carry on campus, saying that had she had a firearm, she would not have gone through the horrific, life changing ordeal she endured while a student at the University of Nevada, a gun free zone.

She was grabbed from behind in a parking lot less than 300 yards from a campus police office, a gun was put to her head and she was warned to keep quiet while her assailant attacked her.

"He put a firearm to my temple," she recounted, "clocked off the safety, and told me not to say anything, before he raped me."

Apparently the University's gun free laws didn't deter James Biela not then or in his subsequent attacks on women. He's now on death row after the rape and murder of 19-year-old Brianna Dennison.

 Brianna Denison

"I know, having been the first victim, that Brianna Dennison would still be alive, had I been able to defend myself that night," Collins said.

Colorado Democrat State Senator Evie Hudak quickly went after her, citing statistics from a rabid anti-gun lobbying group and insisting a gun wouldn't have helped her:

I just want to say, statistics are not on your side, even if you had had a gun. You said that you were a martial arts student, I mean person, experience in taekwondo, and yet because this individual was so large and was able to overcome you even with your skills, and chances are that if you had had a gun, then he would have been able to get than from you and possibly use it against you …

Ms. Collins response was classic:

“Respectfully senator, you weren’t there,” Collins said before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday. “Had I been carrying concealed, he wouldn’t have known I had my weapon; and I was there. I know without a doubt in my mind at some point I would’ve been able to stop my attack by using my firearm.”

She also reminded the clueless Senator Hudak that her attacker was already armed...and as for this woman's  'statistics',  Dana Loesch provides some real ones.

Recently, we've seen Democrats suggest that women  should rely on whistles and call boxes , use a 'buddy system'  or judo or rely on their abilty to  urinate or vomit if they’re under attack from a rapist.

These people obviously feel that a dead woman who's been raped  and strangled with her own panty hose is far better and more politically correct than a woman who pulls out a gun and defends herself.

That's the real war on women...people on the Left like our president who enjoy protection at taxpayer expense but want women left defenseless.

We used to have a name for that kind of person where I grew up, and it wasn't at all complimentary.

Speaking Of Rape - Democrats Oppose Mandatory Sentences For Child Rapists

Even though almost every major figure in the Republican party and the Conservative movement has condemned him and called for him to leave the race, Democrats are now accusing Republicans of condoning rape and a 'war on women' because of Missouri GOP Senate nominee Todd Akin's clueless comments on the subject.

So it's worth looking at how many Democrats treat the crime of rape in the real world.

As anyone with direct experience knows, whenever you find a politician, judge or lawyer raging about the harshness of the criminal justice system, pushing rehabilitation and parole programs for child molesters and sex offenders, rallying behind cop killers or working to disarm or prosecute people who seek to defend themselves from becoming potential victims, it's almost always a Democrat.

A case in point is the stance Virginia Democrats have taken against a popular state law providing for mandatory sentencing of child rapists.

In March, the Virginia state legislature overwhelmingly passed a law that imposed automatic life sentences for any adult convicted of raping a child under the age of 13. It was in response to an appalling statistic - more than half of all rapes in Virginia are to children under 13.

According to the bill's sponsor,Delegate Rob Bell (R.,Charlottesville) “In the past two years we had 228 offenders, only 10 got life sentences. They were appallingly short.”

The figures on recidivism for this type of crime vary between 52% and 88%, depending on how the figures are calculated.

The bill passed by a large majority. Twenty-one state senators and delegates, all of them Democrats, voted no on the bill.

Included among them were Obama surrogates and supporters State Senator Louise Lucas,Delegate Mamye BaCote, a leading member of VA Women for Obama, and Delegate Scott Surovell a member of the Obama campaign’s Truth Team. All of them are prominent in the Obama Campaign's efforts to carry Virginia and unlike the treatment of Todd Akjn by Republicans, none of them have been disavowed by the campaign, much less President Obama.

Ask yourself this question - who's really more involved in the war on women and condoning rape? Is it Democrats who want rapists freed and women disarmed, or Republicans who want women to be able to defend themselves and want convicted rapists off the streets and in jail where they belong?

The hypocrisy is mind numbing.

A Tale Of Two Stupid Remarks..And How The Media Treats Them

Missouri's New GOP Senate Nominee, Todd Akin was asked in an interview whether he supported abortion in the case of rape:

"If abortion could be considered in case of, say, a tubal pregnancy [which threatens the mother’s life], what about in the case of rape?" asked KTVI host Charles Jaco, in a clip that was disseminated by Talking Points Memo. "Should it be legal or not?"

"It seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that's really rare,” Akin said, referring to conception following a rape. "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let's assume that maybe that didn't work or something, I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be of the rapist, and not attacking the child."

Aside from the blather from the usual cartoon characters, there's no doubt this was an ignorant remark. Pregnancy from forcible rape does indeed happen, it's not all that rare and it's why many doctors routinely give rape victims a 'morning after' pill to try and prevent conception. One can only imagine the trauma of a woman seeing that kind of horrendous nightmare in her life reflected daily in the face of a child she lives with.

Akin, to his credit, realized what an idiotic thing he said and apologized.

"In reviewing my off-the-cuff remarks, it's clear that I misspoke in this interview and it does not reflect the deep empathy I hold for the thousands of women who are raped and abused every year", he said.

I consider Akin's remark to be just as offensive and ignorant as Joe Biden's recent remarks in faux black 'dialect' saying that Republicans want to put blacks in chains.

The sole difference is that Joe Biden never apologized, and in fact, the Obama Campaign went out of its way to say they found no problem with what he had said.

Astoundingly, the very left leaning Boston Globe was the only major media outlet who made a public call for Biden to apologize. No one castigated the Obama campaign.

I wonder what the media reaction would be if Mitt Romney and Pauyl Ryan said they had no problems with Akin's remarks? You know what would be going on. Of course, the GOP candidates did nothing of the kind.

Yes, there's a double standard. It isn't exactly news anymore, but a classic example like this is worth pointing out.

Contempt Motion Withdrawn For Rape Victim Who Tweeted Attacker's Names

As you may remember from yesterday, 17-year-old Savannah Dietrich was sexually assaulted when she passed out at a party by two teen age boys, who also took and circulated pictures of the event. It's uncertain whether she was plied with liquor until she was incapacitated or whether something was added to her drink.

Angry at what she considered a wrist slap plea bargain and recommended sentence on her assailants put together by the DA, she resorted to her twitter account to reveal her attacker's names, thus violating the judge's court order not to discuss the details of the case...after which the attorneys for the two boys involved filed a motion to have her held in contempt, which holds a maximum penalty of a $500 fine and up to 180 days in jail.

Well, the verdict of sorts is in. Thanks to the widespread publicity this received, the lawyers for Samantha Dietrich's attackers decided to withdraw the motion:

David Mejia, an attorney for one of the teens, said given that the story has gone global because of a piece Saturday in The Courier-Journal, there was no reason to continue the contempt motion.

“What could contempt do now?” Mejia said in an interview, adding that the boys’ names have already been circulated far beyond the original tweet. “Seems like a rather useless exercise doesn’t it?”

Emily Farrar-Crockett, deputy division chief of the public defender's juvenile division and one of Dietrich's attorneys, said on Monday that “Savannah greatly appreciates the overwhelming support she has received from all over the world” since the newspaper story was published.

“We are encouraged by the private defense attorney’s belated recognition that their action was inappropriate and only served to make worse what this child victim has already endured,” she said.{...}

Mejia was obviously angry with Dietrich’s actions, saying his client’s “privacy has been trampled. He’s accused of things he didn’t do. Anybody who looks at (the postings online) believes things about this kid that are false, but there is nothing I can do about that.”

Mejia said he could not talk about the facts of the case, as he is bound by juvenile confidentiality.

“I can’t stop this teen, and she put it out there,” he said. “She put everybody’s names out there. ... We went to court hoping she would come to her senses” after the tweets, adding the laws of confidentiality in juvenile court were written to protect the victim but “apparently she didn’t want to be protected.”

I find this attorney's remarks puzzling. Neither teen denied committing the assault( and remember, Samantha was also under the age of consent at the time)photographing the event or circulating the pictures. after all, Mr. Mejia had already engineered a plea bargain that involved his clients pleading guilty to the charges, first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and misdemeanor voyeurism, whatever that may be.

I don't see what Samantha Dietrich was accusing his client of that he didn't admit doing.

I also have the feeling that the judge in the case let the attorneys know in chambers that their motion was not exactly looked on favorably. After all, if we're talking about a privacy violation, Samantha Dietrich, who had photos of herself being sexually assaulted circulated to who knows how many people suffered to a far greater degree.

Sentencing will take place in about a month.

Rape Victim Faced With Contempt Charges For Revealing The Names Of Her Attackers Publicly

Now here's an interesting example of American jurisprudence at work.

Back in August, 2011, Samantha Dietrich, pictured above, was sexually assualted by two teen-age boys she knew. She was drinking at a party and passed out. It's uncertain whether she was simply plied with liquor until she blacked out or whether there were any additives to her drinks involved, but either way, the two boys took advantage of the situation. Not only that, but months later she learned that pictures of the assault had been taken and shared around with no one knows how many other people.

“For months, I cried myself to sleep. I couldn’t go out in public places" Samantha said."You just sit there and wonder, who saw (the pictures), who knows?”

Samantha and her parents went to the the Louisville Metro Police, and eventually the two juvenile defendants were charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and misdemeanor voyeurism, whatever that may be.

Everyone involved was a minor, but Samantha is only 17 now, so among other things, she was definitely under the age of consent (18 if I remember my Kentucky law correctly), no matter how you slice this.So it was pretty much open and shut.

The two perpetrators pled guilty to both charges in late June as part of a plea bargain that remains confidential. Sentencing has not yet been officially pronounced.

Samantha Dietrich and her family say they were unaware of the plea bargain and recommended sentence until just before it was announced in court, and were upset with what they termed as a slap on the wrist.

“I felt like they were given a very, very light deal,” Dietrich said. “I wasn’t happy with it, at all.”

The judge instructed everyone involved in the case not to speak to anyone about what had happened in the court or about the crime in general, according to Dietrich.

“I was crying as she (the judge) was reading that,” Dietrich said. “They got off very easy ... and they tell me to be quiet, just silencing me at the end.”

Here's where things get interesting.

After the June 26 hearing, Dietrich went public on her Twitter account and named  the two teens who pleaded guilty.

“They said I can’t talk about it or I’ll be locked up,” Dietrich tweeted. “So I’m waiting for them to read this and lock me up. ____ justice."

“Protect rapist is more important than getting justice for the victim in Louisville.”

“There you go, lock me up,” Savannah Dietrich tweeted, as she named the perpetrators. “I’m not protecting anyone that made my life a living Hell.”

The attorneys for the two perpetrators immediately went to District Court to seek contempt charges against Dietrich for violating the judge's instruction in the matter. The charge carries a potential sentence of up to 180 days in jail and a $500 fine.

Dietrich’s attorneys in turn filed motions to open the court proceedings, arguing she has a First Amendment right to speak about what happened in her case and a right to a public hearing on the contempt charge.

Court cases involving juveniles are normally closed in Kentucky.

So, that's where things stand now.

Hard to say how to come down on this.

On the one hand, Samantha Dietrich obviously violated a judge's instructions, always a bad idea and normally a one way ticket to a contempt citation.

On the other hand, it appears that the DA was trying to shuffle this along by going for an easy plea bargain without consulting the victim or her family first, whom the DA was supposedly working for. That happens quite a lot. And it's also pretty obvious that the perpetrators of the assault didn't particularly care about Samantha Dietrich's privacy one iota, not to mention her person, which they essentially treated like a toilet. Pictures of the rape are probably still circulating and being gawked at.

The better way for Samantha Dietrich to proceed would have been to challenge the judge's court order at the time, but then, she and her family were dealing with someone from the DA's office, with all that implies....

Your thoughts?
