Twenty-four Iranians escaped from an Iraqi prison near the border with Iran succeeded in escaping Saturday night, according to the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
This was in Wasit province, southeast of Baghdad and withing spitting distance of the Iran/Iraq border.The Iranian escapees were all being held for allegedly having entered the country illegally.
Apparently the prisoners got out through the main gate.
Can you say i-n-s-i-d-e- j-o-b? Sure you can.
