She's bundled at least $50,000 and likely more in donations to the Obama 2008 campaign. Bundling, for those of you who don't know is a way of combining a number of 'individual' campaign contributions as a group, toget around the statutory maximum individual donation of $2,300..say, by having one's minor children living at the same address make 'individual' contributions, as Evans and her son did.
Regular members of Joshua's Army need no introduction to Code Pink, a radical leftist organization formed by Evans and Medea Benjamin, with a healthy financial assist from George Soros.
However, for newbies, here's a brief rundown on Code Pink and their exploits:
- Since their inception in 2002, Code Pink has openly conducted a `Counter-Recruitment'campaign designed specifically to impede US recruitment efforts, bar US recruiters from campuses and barricade access to military recruiting offices during wartime. They're the chief architects of the illegal barricade of the Marine recruiter's office in Berkeley.
- During the first battle of Fallujah, During the last week of December 2004, Medea Benjamin of Code Pink proudly announced on their website that Code Pink, Global Exchange, and Families for Peace would be donating a combined $600,000 in supplies and cash to the terrorist insurgents who were shooting at our troops.
- Code Pink was one of the chief sponsors of anti-Semitic whack job, attention whore and conspiracy theorist Cindy Sheehan.
- In keeping with this proud tradition, Code Pink in 2004 was a signatory to a letter urging members of the U.S. Senate to vote against supporting Israel's 'illegal apartheid wall', AKA the anti-terrorist security fence in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank)designed to make it more difficult for homicide bombers to kill Israeli civilians.
- Through most of 2005, the nice ladies of Code Pink made a practice of holding `demonstrations' at Walter Reed Hospital in DC, taunting brave wounded soldiers recovering at Walter Reed hospital.... men who in many cases were physically unable to give these `activists' the answer they deserved.
Like I said, when people like this support you, it says something about you. In the case of an anti-American radical like Jodie Evans, she has enough confidence in the kind of change Barack Hussein Obama is peddling to put her money where her mouth is.

The goals for the Iraq war were spelled out from the beginning. 1.) Eliminate Iraq's WMD and WMD programs, 2.)Establish a pro-American democracy in Iraq that would be allied with the US in the global war against Islamic terrorism. 3.)This Iraqi democracy was to set a positive and prosperous example for the Arab world.
As for goals 2 and 3, I firmly believe that without the negative influence of Code Pink and their fellow travelers whose actions have served to sap the will of the American people and the will of the people of the free world both goals 2 and 2 would have been achieved and alot more American service men, as well as Iraqis and Afghans would still be alive right. In fact, we probably would have won the war against Islamic terrorism by now.
As for goal # 1, Iraq's WMD are probably in Syria right now. They will eventually show up. The only question is when. I pray it is not when they are being used that they show up. Without the negative influence of Code Pink nad their fellow travellers it probably would have been possible to hold Syria accountable for taking custody of Iraq's WMD.
Much of the problem of Code Pink and other leftists can be laid at the feet of the Bush Administration and other members of the US government. In the aftermath of 911, the Bush Administration came up with an excellent strategy for defeating Islamic terrorists. Unfortunately they have never had any strategy for dealing with the local fifth column. Failure to defeat the local fifth column will likely result in the complete destruction of one or more of our cities and probably the complete over throw of the United States.
