The election was marked by violence, massive police turnout and undoubtedly by certain `irregularities'. In a real, uncooked election, the Brotherhood would have probably done even better.
Apparently Dubbyah's theory of democracy being an antidote for radical Islam is just a mite flawed in places. Look for an Islamist regime or a military dictatorship once an aging Mubarek dies off.
