Delay in referring Iran to the UN security Council..and it's all Israel's fault, of course
When in doubt, BLAME ISRAEL!
The 35-nation board of the International Atomic Energy Agency delayed a vote on referring Iran to the UN security Council...and of course, it's all Israel's fault!
Dispute Over Israel Delays Vote on Iran Nuclear Resolution - New York Times
The problem arose when Egypt insisted that the draft resolution include a specific mention of support for the creation of a nuclear-weapons-free zone in the Middle East. This of course is aimed at Israel, which has never admitted that it has nuclear weapons and unlike Iran, never signed the Non-Proliferation treaty.
The US is opposing this nonsense, and the resolution is expected to pass without inclusion of the anti-Israel directed clause, after the usual diplomatic shuffle.
As for the Iranians, they stated today that if Iran was referred to the Security Council, they would cease examining the Russian proposal on enriching uranium outside Iran, and would not allow any further cooperation with UN inspections. Right.
I think if an Israel did not exist, the Arabs would have had to invent one. Not that the Arab world has done much inventing in the last few centuries.
BTW..look at the above poster. What was that again from the Muslims about` respect for religion'?
