One Hand Washes The Other - Obama Aides Land Big Media Jobs
The Obama Media is already starting to reward the president's campaign aides with well paid sinecures as 'journalists'.
NBC is hiring the president's chief consigliere David Axelrod as a "senior political strategist." Needless to say, he'll be a regular on NBC and MSNBC. Earlier in the month, former White House spokeshole Robert Gibbs also got a cushy job at MSNBC.
At least they're not on the taxpayer's dime any more.
Democrat activist and Obama campaign staffer Hilary Rosen, who among other things attacked Ann Romney, saying that she "never worked a day in her life" is the latest edition to the Washington Post, where she'll co-write the Insider's column with Ed Rogers, a mainstream 'Republican strategist' and member of the consultant class whose chief claim to fame is a two year stint in the President George HW Bush White House and a position on George W. Bush's '04 campaign staff.
I can guarantee you that there will be a lot more of these hires.
What better way to perpetuate the never-ending Obama campaign than to get some of its chief practitioners on the air early and often?
