What Happens When YouTake School Choice Away

 

 

 

My, my... Leave it to Sodom on the Bay to not only close schools for weeks, but to come up with a forced, mandatory requirement to 'expand diversity' which gave most parents zero choices of where their children could go to school. This so-called 'Zone system' the school board voted in back in  December was designed to 'increase diversity' in the public schools no matter what. And, as a cherry on top, students living in public housing and their parents were given a priority in the selection process. 

 What that meant is that if you had a child in a decent elementary school near where you live, they could be sent  anywhere. And parents were prevented from any appeal about it, even if it meant their children would be going to school in a dangerous neighborhood far away, with substandard teachers and curriculum and problems with gangs. 

 

On the other hand, if your child already was in such a school, instead of improving it with better teachers and disciplining the trouble makers, You would get  the priority of sending him or her to the good schools in your 'zone'. Not only that, but the curriculum of all public schools will also be 'diversified...and I'm sure you know what that means...the teaching of critical Race theory in all public schools.

  While on the face of it this seems like it might have some good points, the obvious reasons for doing it was highly suspect. Among other things, it was scheduled to cost $2.5 million over the next 18 months. 

Hmm, no interest in how how the existing schools could have been improved with that money instead! The real reason of course has nothing to do with diversity. So the real reason it was done is obvious. It's about power and control. These children will be subjected to the far Left's views on morality, America, and of course critical race theory. 

Not only that, but families were not to be allowed  to appeal any decision of the Bureaucrats. And since students living in public House projects will get priority in picking whatever school they want, teachers who are actually trying to educate a class of students can no longer teach to the general learning level of a classroom, which of course means that the smarter kids with the higher learning capacities suffer.

It also means that people who struggled to save and  buy a home at San Francisco's high prices in a nice neighborhood because of the good schools were getting ripped off big time.Especially since they pay the highest taxes.

So how well did this expensive program work out? Simple. Much of San Francisco white and Asian parents took one of two ways out. They either found private and/or Parochial schools to send their kids to, which meant that they were still getting ripped off and  stuck paying those high taxes as well as private school fees.

The other choice of course, being to relocate outside the district or maybe even move away from SF period.

When I first read about this , I sympathized, since I got my kids out of the public schools where I lived  myself as soon as possible, respectfully in the 5th and 3rd grades and found an excellent parochial school for them. I still think that it was one of the best moves we ever made as parents, expensive though it was.

Surprise! That's exactly what happened in San Francisco, and their racist woke tactics cost them a bundle. This s what happens when the people supposedly running the public school district spend their time debating on how to rename public  schools after Lefty 'heroes' instead of historic American heroes. And the kids are already behind, because there was almost a year's lock down mandated by the teacher's union.

According to the SF Chronicle, more than 1,700 public school students have simply left the public schools. And they're expecting a lot more to  leave at the start of the next academic year in the fall. And guess what?  Any teacher will tell you that one of their important duties is that morning head count, which determines how much Federal money the school gets.

According to the Chronicle, this is going to cost the district $20 Million in Fed money...not that the public schools are doing very well otherwise academically, like a lot of California public schools. You see, with the better students leaving, the remaining children in SFUSD were at 12% proficiency in Math & 19% in English, with 80% of those kids who are left  not meeting reading literacy requirements.

The Sf school district already has a lawsuit to deal with because of its decision to rename schools named after Washington,Lincoln, etc for their 'racism.'

 was under fire because of a number of tweets criticizing Asians of being racist and not woke. After she refused to resign or remove the tweets (see, if you use Twitter and are from the right demographic you can get away with racism). She sued the School District for $87 million after she was removed from her position. I haven't bothered to check whether she won, since all this shows is the quality of who's running the school district....

Again, in big letters.....THIS IS NOT ABOUT BETTER EDUCATION.IT IS DEFINITELY NOT ABOUT THE WELFARE OF THE KIDS, IF ANYTHING, IT'S THE REVERSE.  SO WHAT IS IT REALLY ABOUT???

SIMPLE, IT'S ABOUT CONTROL, WASTING OTHER PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY, INFERIOR TEACHERS PROTECTED BY A POLITICALY PROMINENT UNION AND MOST OF ALL, MIND RAPING YOUR CHILDREN.

 TO FIX IT WILL TAKE PARENTS THEMSELVES GETTING IN THESE PEOPLE'S FACES AND VOTING THEM OUT OF POWER. Or SIMPLY LEAVING THE DISTRICT AND STARVING THE BEAST. HOME SCHOOLING IS ALSO AN OPTION.

THINK ABOUT IT. YOUR KIDS ARE WORTH IT.

Murder Most Foul- Black Trump Supporter Murdered Execution Style

60-year-old Bernell Trammell owned a small store in Milwaukee. He was kind man, well liked in his neighborhood, a religious man who did some street preaching. He was also a Trump supporter. That got him murdered. 

This is a man who worshipped G-d and a man of faith. You can hear it in his voice. In a video shot near his store, Bernell Trammel said the following: “I am Bernell Trammell, I am at my office at the Expressions Journal publication, and I am encouraging afro-Americans from all walks of life and culture here in Wisconsin, particularly here in Milwaukee, to vote Donald Trump for this year, Trump 2020.” This was just a few hours before he was murdered. He also made a Facebook post showing him carrying the same 'vote for Donald Trump sign.'

Here's what one of his neighbors posted onTwitter about him. " Bernell Trammell was shot in the head execution style broad daylight yesterday in front of his store. He was a God fearing Trump supporting man. Was it because he was a Trump supporter? He didn't look for fights, he lived a good life. Sick and sad! "

Wisconsin Senator RonJohnson also had something to say about this:

Bernell Trammell was known to many in Milwaukee. My condolences to his family and friends. I hope they get answers and justice soon.

Will they? Perhaps. But since no one else had any reason to kill Bernall Trammel, he was obviously murdered because of his political beliefs. They simply decided he was one Black life that didn't matter and since he was well known and respected in his part of Milwaukee and might influence people, they killed him.

We live in an age when expressing your views freely, the basis of our First Amendment only applies to

the Radical Left. Even in our neighborhoods, people realize that supporting President Trump with a bumper sticker or a lawn sign can get your car or home vandalized. Even worse is the way sports teams, colleges, certain city and state governments, many corporations, Hollywood and most of our media cowardly adhere to this Orwellian punishment for thought crimes.

Not only can it get your property vandalized or get you socially ostracized, it can get you fired from your job for the least infraction. It can even get you seriously injured or killed.

This needs to be stopped, or it will destroy our country and melt away our freedoms.

On Bernall Trammel's sign in front of his store, one of the signs mentions Matthew 16 verse 3 and urges us to discern the signs of the times:

And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.  He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’

And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

Very appropriate. We had better start learning to interpret the signs of the times....and start taking action accordingly

Candace Owens " George Floyd Is No Martyr

Candace Owens belongs to a group of African Americans who see beyond the BS and understand what the real problems black Americans face are...and it isn't 'white racism.'

She's totally correct that George Floyd is no martyr. He's a thug who is simply convenient to the Democrats, BLM and Antifa and the left with an election coming up. As I mentioned here 

 he has a great deal in common with the rest of the so called 'martyrs' used to incite riots and racist 'hate whitey' dialogue.

Like Trayvon Martin*, Rodney King, and the so-called 'Gentle Giant' he has a rap sheet for a number of violent crimes, including theft,   a number of drug dealing offenses, robbery, and a home invasion where he pointed a loaded gun at the stomach of a pregnant black woman while she begged for her life. In fact, he had a bag of cocaine with him when he was stopped.

He had just committed or  was in the process of committing a felony when he had his altercation with police.

He was crazy high on drugs  when he was stopped, another felony. That was revealed by the autopsy.

Instead of doing  what the police asked him to do, he resisted furiously to the point where they had to drag him out of his car. The two friends (accomplices??) he had with him did exactly what the police said to do. Both of them  are alive and neither was injured in any way.

My point here is not that George Floyd deserved to die in the way he did, but that Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Democrat politicians, the Leftist Media and the various companies, individuals and institutions  using him as a 'battle cry', martyr and role model for virtue signalling is cynical to a disgusting degree and simply a matter of convenience. It is also racist in and of itself, since lauding people like this insures more will follow George Floyd using the same pattern for their lives. They too will get involved in crime,  drug use, and refuse to obey police at some point.

Candace Owens makes an interesting point here...that black culture is the only one that makes heroes out of career criminals like George Floyd. She also shows us something I've been aware of for some time...that white men are far more likely to be killed by police then black men, even though black men, 6% of our population commit a ridiculously out sized percentage of violent crime....

So here's the question.

How long are a substantial percentage of Black Americans going to allow themselves to be used this way?

Where are Black fathers? 75% of black births happen out of wedlock.

How long are you going to be tools for the Democrat party and the Left? Do black Americans realize that the vast majority of Democrat supported Planned Parenthood's abortions and baby parts for sale come from black babies? Read up on Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood and why she did it. And maybe remember which political party fights tooth and nail to finance and protect Planned Parenthood.

Do you think your kids don't learn something from you or other black Americans when they see you looting and destroying? You bet they do and it puts them on the same path as George Floyd. Is that what you really want? Think about why they might learn from you about  not  following a policeman's instructions and resisting violently and how that might end.

Think about it.

And again, I'll repeat what I've written elsewhere. If you think America is a racist country with no opportunity for black Americans and where your kids are in danger of being shot by police, I suggest you think seriously about finding another country to migrate to. It's a big world and a truly moral decision would be to migrate to someplace you think would be  better. That's a moral decision and one I would certainly make if I felt like that.

*Trayvon Martin didn't have much of a rap sheet, but he was clearly headed that way. He was no innocent, having a background as a truant, a liar, a thief, a schoolyard bully, and a doper.He was on suspension when he was shot in February, after officials caught him with a 'marijuana pipe' and a baggie with drug residue; He was suspended three times for graffiti, being in possession of  'burglary tools' and a bag full of women's jewelry and for attacking a bus driver. He was on suspension when he had his altercation with George Zimmerman, who he assaulted. Except for not doing jail time, he fits the profile perfectly.

Cheerleaders, G-d And Civil Disobedience

 

Oneida High School in Oneida, Tennessee ended prayers before athletic events because they were afraid of the possibility of lawsuits after pressure from the ACLU and atheist organizations like the Freedom From Religion foundation. So they stopped the usual broadcasting of the Lord's Prayer, otherwise known as Psalm 23 (written by King David) over the PA and substituted a 'moment of silence' instead.The school's decision didn't resonate well with the students and much of the community.

What happened next is simply heartwarming.

The next Friday night football game, the school's cheerleaders in a body used that 'moment of silence' to lead the assembled crowd and the athletes in Psalm 23.

“We need prayer for so many reasons especially in our community now and the troubles we face every day,” said junior Kayla King.

“During the moment of silence all the cheerleaders came together and recited the Lord's Prayer,” King explained.

Cheerleader Captain Ally Meyers said she was "emotional" when she learned that prayers could no longer be recited over the PA system. She said the cheerleaders decided to keep it going on their own, and the whole crowd joined in.

"Our community needs God in it, especially at football games. We pray for the safety of each and every player out there and the cheerleaders and the fans for the drive home," she said.

“In that moment the atmosphere was kind of great because it was nothing but heads bowed, and you heard the Lord's Prayer ring over the football field,” said King.

It must have been quite a moment.

And here's the irony. While the outside groups trying to impose their version of secular tyranny were looking to limit prayer, they had the opposite effect. Instead of one person reading Psalm 23 over the PA, there are now hundreds of people reciting it, and receiving an enhanced spiritual charge from a wonderful act of civil disobedience.

Contrary to what you've heard, there is no legally mandated 'separation' of religion and state, and that entire belief is based on a couple of highly questionable decisions from the ultra-Left Warren Court. But for those of you whom claim there is, here's a test.

If you think reading a Judeo-Christian prayer over a PA system at a non-mandatory school event is 'unconstitutional', do you feel the same way about the adhan, the Muslim call to prayer? That consists of a statement of Islam's superiority and other religion's inferior status broadcast publicly through PA systems at often earsplitting volume where people are forced to listen to it even if they are non-Muslims.



Funny thing...I haven't heard of any letters to mosques telling them to ditch broadcasting the adhan...not even so much as one threat of an ACLU lawsuit, have you? The muscular secularists at the ACLU or the Freedom From Religion Foundation seem to have plenty of courage when it comes to Judeo-Christian practices and institutions, but somehow they aren't lining up to file suits against mosques that are openly even more intrusive when it comes to broadcasting their religious beliefs in the public sphere.

If you're going to go after Oneida High School and not the mosques and their minarets, that is selective enforcement, a polite name for bigotry. It really is that simple.

Baseless Hatred - Israel's Ultimate Price Tag

Both the Torah and our own long  history tell us that our biggest danger to Israel is what is called baseless hatred between Jews. Some even link the destruction of Israel's first two commonwealths to that baseless hatred, and not without reason.

There is a Jewish community in the hill country of the Benjamin region of Samaria where an incident occurred recently that sheds some light on how dangerous and destructive this is, a place called Eish Kodesh.

Eish Kodesh is the home of some 30 families and about 100 young children. The vast majority of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria were built on land that was either vacant, legally purchased by Jews before the ethnic cleansing by Jordan in 1948 or on former Jordanian government-owned land. In the case of Eish Kodesh, the land was vacant and uncontested.Since Eish Kodesh is near the Arab village of Kusra, there is a history of friction, vandalism, theft and violence.

On January 7th, a large force of border police destroyed the vineyards and orchards belonging to two of the residents of Eish Kodesh that the Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria said had been illegally planted, and confiscated or destroyed privately owned farming equipment belonging to two of the residents with a Disruptive Use Order even though there were no conflicting claims. The damages amounted to over 80,000 NIS.

The Likud's enfant terrible Moishe Feiglin was one of those who donated new trees to replace the uprooted ones.

What happened next is frankly, shocking. Or it should be.

After the destruction at Eish Kodesh, a group of 20 or so young Jewish men, many of whom live in the vicinity decided to take a symbolic hike through the area to show solidarity with their neighbors and to demonstrate to their Arab neighbors that this is their home too, and that they intend to stay. There was no intention of committing any 'price tag' attack by any of the group. They claim that similar hike in the same area had happened just the week before without incident, and the Jewish group was unarmed. They also claim that they were in an area not attached to the Arab village of Kusra, nor did they try to enter the village. This version coincides with the testimony of Pinhasi Brown, one of the group.

What happened is that they were ambushed by an assembled mob of Arabs who forcibly dragged them into an unfinished building at a construction site in Kusra, tied them up and began beating them severely with fists, clubs and pipes. Four of the young men had to be hospitalized afterwards. After about a half hour, soldiers from the Tzahal arrived and managed, after another 90 minutes, to get the Jews released. The beatings continued while the soldiers were present, and they reportedly did nothing to stop them.

While some of the Jews were arrested, none of the Arab mob were taken into custody. The Arabs told the IDF that their captives had come to Kusra to commit a 'price tag' attack. There's absolutely no evidence that they did, and considering that this happened at mid-day and none of the group was armed, it's unlikely that it was. In fact the Arabs of Kusra have a recent history of making false accusations of this kind of thing before.

In view of this, the IDF not intervening to rescue Jews who had been kidnapped and essentially lynched is astounding, as is their failure to take the members of the Arab mob into custody for taking the law into their own hands, if nothing else. Are there two sets of law in Israel now?

Even worse was some of the media reaction. Prominent Channel 10 news editor Dror Zaresky wrote a piece in Maariv-NRG confessing his delight in seeing his fellow Jews beaten and abused:

"The reports in the media and around some of the water coolers,” he wrote, “ran the gamut from just-the-facts to awarding a prize for courage to the Palestinian residents of the village near Shechem who settled a long debt with the youths of the right wing specifically, and with Israel the occupier in general.”

"I will admit the truth: I, too, had to fight the smile that spread on my face when I heard the reports from the village,” Zaresky added. “When I first heard about the 'price tag' action gone bad in the wadis of Samaria, I could not hide my smile. Unlike many of my friends in the media, I do not see these actions as disastrous for the country; proportionality was abandoned long ago, in the way we report these incidents of graffiti and flat tires. And yet, there is no doubt in my mind that the right wing criminals are trying to disrupt the lives of many Palestinians – and on the way, they may just succeed in setting fire to our calm neighborhood in the Middle East.”

Fascinating that Zaresky and his friends, whom call themselves journalists would automatically judge their fellow Jews guilty without any evidence at all, especially in view of the Arab residents  of  Kusra's history of phony claims. But regardless of what happened, this is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about, While Dror Zaresky is certainly free to hate 'right wing criminals' as he puts it, he seems to have no clue about how dangerous this is.

Kid's Cards For Wounded Vets Refused By VA Because they Mention 'G-d' and 'Christmas'

 

Here's a story for you to ponder.

A group of elementary school kids in North Texas thought it would be a wonderful idea to make some handmade Christmas cards for wounded warriors in a local VA hospital at Christmastime. What happened next is a pretty good sign of what Obama's America has become:

"I'm hoping that it might make their day because their family might live far away, and they might not have somebody to celebrate Christmas with and I'd like them to know they've not been forgotten and somebody wanted to say thank you," said fourth grader Gracie Brown.

Gracie and her brother, Luke, put a lot of thought and effort into their Christmas cards.

"It includes ‘Merry Christmas,' and when you open it up, it says 'Thank you for your service' and the American flag," said Luke.

Fifty-two students at Grace Academy in Prosper spent Friday making the cards they planned to hand deliver to bedridden veterans at the VA hospital in Dallas Monday morning.

When Gracie and Luke's mom, Andrea, found out they wouldn't be able to, she was outraged.

"This wasn't the country I grew up in, when you couldn't say ‘Merry Christmas,' you couldn't say ‘God bless you' or reference any scripture," she said.

The cards were the idea of Susan Chapman, a math teacher at Grace Academy. She's married to a veteran and volunteers with the American Legion and other veterans' organizations.

"It really didn't occur to me there would be a problem with distributing Christmas cards," said Chapman.

She didn't find out about the VA's holiday card policy until she called Monday morning to arrange details for the cards' delivery.

"I told him my students made cards, we'd like to bring them down for the veterans," said Chapman. "And he said, 'That's great. We're thrilled to have them, except the only thing is, we can't accept anything that says ‘Merry Christmas' or ‘God bless you' or any scriptural references because of all the red tape.'" [...]

Parents say as disappointing as this experience was for their children, they're more heartbroken for the veterans.

"They couldn't believe the people that these people they wanted to honor weren't going to get the chance to see what they had done," said Andrea.


Personally, as a non-Christian I can't imagine lying in a hospital as a wounded warrior at any time of year and not being warmed inside by getting this sort of thing from children.

I suspect this policy is likely the work of atheist and virulent anti-Christian activist Mikey Weinstein. President Obama's czar in charge of secularizing the military and eliminating all mentions of G-d and religion, period.

Obviously the servant is doing his master's bidding..the Obama's own 'holiday cards' have no mention of Jesus, G-d or even Christianity.



But they do show the White House dogs, in front of an empty building, which actually says a great deal the president didn't intend. And remember, these cards are being sent out at Christmas time ostensibly from a Christian man and his family.

This kind of wholesale rejection of the principles our nation was founded on is going to come with a price, and I only pray that this is reversed before that price becomes heavier than we can bear.

Duck Dynasty: A&E And Cracker Barrel Cave

The tyranny meted out by GLAAD and other Christian hating groups appears to be backfiring badly.

After the Robertson family announced publicly that it would be unthinkable for them to continue with the top rated show without their patriarch Phil Robertson, the suits at A&E and Disney, who owns them seem to have had a change of heart...especially after feeling the heat from their viewers, ( a 'boycott A&E' Facebook page received over 1.5 million likes in a matter of a couple of days) and very likely after consulting with their lawyers about what their violation of Robertson's civil and First Amendment rights was likely to cost them in court.

Phil Robertson's suspension is apparently over, and he will return to the show in January.No word on whether a fifth season is in the works, but if it works out contractually and the Robertsons are no longer obligated to A&E, don't be surprised if Duck Dynasty appears on a different outlet.

Knowing how these things work, aside from an apology, I wouldn't be surprised if the Robertsons received a cash somethin' somethin' from A&E/ Disney in order to let bygones be bygones and continue the show.

Apparently the owners of Cracker Barrel felt the heat as well for embracing politically correct tyranny.
Just days after they announced they were removing Duck Dynasty products from their stores, they posted this craven apology:

Dear Cracker Barrel Customer:

When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that’s just what we've done.

You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren't shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong.

We listened.

Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores.

And, we apologize for offending you.

We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different.

We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family.

Unfortunately for Cracker Barrel, a lot of folks now realize that they can buy the products in question directly from Duck Commander and bypass an outlet like Cracker Barrel entirely.

Embracing tyranny always carries a price.

Two Scenes From The War On Campus Against Men

Think stories about the war against males, particularly but not exclusively on campus are exaggerated? Here are a couple of examples about how it works in real life.

Stephen Zingarelli is a former student at Kenyon college, an elite Liberal arts school in Ohio. And he's suing them.

His story is a good example of what young men in college face today, courtesy of Professor Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit :

Stephen Zingarelli, a former Kenyon student who was acquitted last June of rape and gross sexual imposition, filed a lawsuit on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Knox County’s Court of Common Pleas against Kenyon College, the student who accused him of rape and a student Sexual Misconduct Advisor (SMA). The suit was first reported by the Mount Vernon News yesterday.

In the suit, which contains 14 individual counts, Zingarelli accuses Kenyon of breach of contract and negligence in the training and supervision of SMAs. The suit also accuses Kenyon of violating Title IX of the Education Acts Amendment of 1972 by discriminating against him based on his sex.

Zingarelli also alleges that his student accuser subjected him to malicious prosecution, infliction of emotional duress and defamation.

In the suit, Zingarelli additionally claims his accuser destroyed evidence relevant to the case, and alleges that those actions were taken “with the aid and encouragement of [the sexual misconduct advisor], and at her direction.”

All three defendants are accused of civil conspiracy to damage Zingarelli in the suit, which was independently obtained and confirmed by the Collegian.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages from the College as well as injunctive relief. The suit also seeks damages and attorneys fees from the two student defendants.

Although the suit repeatedly seeks damages “yet to be determined,” it cites $175,000 in paid Kenyon tuition, counseling fees in excess of $500, attorney’s fees in excess of $15,000 and “lost opportunities and income caused by delay in graduating and entering the professional world.”

Note that even though he was acquitted of all charges, the woman who filed a false accusation against him and the student advisers who aided and abetted her aren't named.

So how does something like this happen? Our next exhibit, courtesy of James Taranto reveals how. Aside from gender bias, the Obama Administration has literally blackmailed universities into setting up Kangeroo courts designed to convict young men accused of sexual misconduct not using the standard of "clear and convincing evidence" to establish guilt but the far more lax preponderance of the evidence".

Both were underclassmen at Alabama's Auburn University when a common acquaintance introduced them. "We instantly became attached at the hip and did everything together," she recalled six months later. "I rather quickly moved into his place. . . . Everything was great until pretty much June 29."

That night, an intimate encounter in Mr. Strange's bed went wrong. She called police, who detained him for questioning. She said she had awakened to find him forcing himself on her; he said the sexual activity was consensual and initiated by her. There was no dispute as to the physical acts involved.

The accuser did not press charges that night. In fact, before sunrise she returned to his apartment, and the couple agreed to continue dating. When I asked him why in a recent phone interview, he told me: "I cared about her."

But the relationship soon disintegrated. Phone records show their communications ended in mid-August. In early September he was arrested again after she told police that two days earlier he had confronted her in a public place and struck her. He flatly denied it, saying he was 15 miles away at the time. This time she did press charges, for misdemeanor simple assault as well as for felony forcible sodomy in the June 29 incident.

Mr. Strange was cleared on both counts. On Feb. 3, 2012, a grand jury handed up a "no bill" indictment on the sodomy charge, meaning the evidence was insufficient to establish probable cause for prosecution. On May 24, when the simple-assault case went to trial, the accuser didn't show up. "I don't have a witness to go forward with, your honor," said city attorney Michael Short. Case dismissed.

So Mr. Strange got his day in court and was treated fairly. But he had already been punished for the unproven crimes. Auburn expelled him after a campus tribunal found him "responsible" for committing the catchall offense of "sexual assault and/or sexual harassment." A letter from Melvin Owens, head of the campus police, explained that expulsion is a life sentence. If Mr. Strange ever sets foot on Auburn property, he will be "arrested for Criminal Trespass Third," Mr. Owens warned.

Joshua Strange, now 23, is a civilian casualty in the Obama administration's war on men. In an April 2011 directive, Russlyn Ali, then assistant education secretary for civil rights, threatened to withhold federal money from any educational institution that failed to take a hard enough line against sexual misconduct to ensure "that all students feel safe in their school." The result was to leave accused students more vulnerable to false charges and unfair procedures. The prospect of losing federal funds has left university administrators "crippled by panic," Robert Shibley of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education told me. "The incentives are pointing toward findings of guilt, not accurate findings."

So what happens to young men accused in this fashion, even if the charges are unproven and he's acquitted?

Well, for starters they normally have difficulty in completing their education, because few universities want to admit someone 'convicted' by a campus tribunal of sexual assault or sexual harassment, even if the young man was acquitted in a court of law. They don't want to risk a lawsuit for negligence just in case something happens. That especially applies to any graduate studies.

If he does manage to find a university or college to admit him, the stigma of what happened is always present. Any friendship or relationship he might have with a young woman he meets on campus is colored by the reminder of what happened, so his social life is stigmatized.

And when he graduates and starts looking for a job, this follows him around and has to be explained each time..."I see you were expelled..". There are a lot of firms that will find it more expedient simply not to hire him.Why take a chance?

This has backfired, by the way, on a lot of perfectly innocent young women whom would never consider filing false charges for sexual assault. Two places many women used to meet their prospective spouses were at college or at the workplace. Given the climate today and the implicit threat men face of being demonized and thrown out of college or losing their jobs over false accusations like the two young men above experienced, a lot of savvy young men simply avoid getting involved with young women at work or who go to the same university. Which makes it a lot harder for these women to find suitable dates and partners, something a lot of young women complain about these days, with their remarks usually prefaced by a plaintive 'there's nobody out there.'

Breaking: Dept Of Justice Helped Organize 'Justice For Trayvon' Protests

The Daily Caller has discovered documents that reveal that the Obama Department of Justice helped organize, pay for, provide security and facilitate the 'Justice for Trayvon' protests in Florida that led to the farcical Zimmerman trial:

The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

CRS spent $674.14 between March 25-27 related to having been “deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.” CRS spent another $1,142.84 for the same purpose between March 25-28.

CRS spent $892.55 “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida” between March 30-April 1, and $751.60 “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.” {...}

CRS expenditures related to the anti-Zimmerman protests continued through mid-April. Between April 11 and April 12, CRS spent $552.35 “to provide technical assistance for the preparation of possible marches and rallies related to the fatal shooting of a 17 year old African American male.”

Local government officials noticed the Department of Justice’s efforts in building “bridges of understanding” in Sanford.

“Congratulations to our partners, Thomas Battles, Regional Director, and Mildred De Robles, Miami-Dade Coordinator and their co-workers at the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service for their outstanding and ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and build bridges of understanding and respect in Sanford, Florida,” wrote Amy Carswell, Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board Program Officer, in an April 16 email.

“Thank you Partner. You did lots of stuff behind the scene to make Miami a success. We will continue to work together,” DOJ official Thomas Battles wrote in reply to Carswell.


If the DOJ was willing to do this much, what else did they do we don't know about yet? And what kind of pressure was put on Broward County to prosecute Zimmerman? And did the protesters get any of that 'Obama money' to scream, yell, carry signs and act out?

Obama intimate, Racist and anti-semite Al Sharpton played a prominent role in ginning up the protests. Rev Al doesn't do these things for free. Where did the money to attract him, pay him to speak and put him up in the kind of five star hotels he favors come from, and how much was it?

What we have here is gross White House interference at the taxpayer's expense in local legal matters, based strictly on race. Like the president's remarks on the matter, it is unethical and unjust at its very core.

You see, President Obama told yet another whopper when he claimed he was going to be the president of all the people, back when he was inaugurated in 2009.

Looks Like Chuck Hagel Has An Armenian Problem As Well As A Jewish One

Or to put it more accurately, he's simply pro-Islamist at all times, when it's the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Iran, Hamas or or the Islamist government of Turkey.

Turns out that Senator Hagel opposed a 2005 congressional resolution recognizing Turkey’s genocide of 1.5 million Armenians in 1915. the direct precursor to the Holocaust, cited by Hitler himself as a model at the Wannsee Conference in 1942 when the Final Solution for Europe's Jews was decided on.

How 'bout that?

The genocide of the Armenians was planned and executed by the Turkish government of that time at the highest levels, but unlike the Germans, the Turks, cynically, have yet to admit it happened.They've taken genocide denial to new heights.

Daniel Halper at the Weekly Standard quotes Hagel at the time:

“What happened in 1915 happened in 1915,” Hagel said during a 2005 trip to Armenia when he was serving in the Senate. “As one United States senator, I think the better way to deal with this is to leave it open to historians and others to decide what happened and why.”

“The fact is that this region needs to move forward,” Hagel continued. “We need to find a lasting, just peace between Turkey and Armenia and the other nations of this region. I am not sure that by going back and dealing with that in some way that causes one side or the other to be put in difficult spot, helps move the peace process forward.”

Move along, nothing to see here..as if real 'peace' and any kind of reconciliation is possible when one side refuses to admit that there's anything to reconcile or address about the past in the first place!

I wonder...does Senator Hagel feel the same way about the Holocaust of the Jews? it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did.

Nor would it surprise me if he was just as blase' about a modern Holocaust of Jews in Israel at the hands of his Islamist friends.

It's an embarrassment to America and a smear on this president's already besmirched character that someone like this would even be considered for a cabinet post.

It's an embarrassment that President Obama even put his name forward...and even worse, I see it likely he will be confirmed by the Democrat dominated Senate.

The Left Is Already Starting Its Mormon Punching

Gee what would we do for amusement without the Angry Left's hypocrisy?

Lefty site Buzzfeed has a nifty article about a new 'study' claiming that anti-Mormon hatred is spiking among people the study described as 'liberals':

Americans' aversion to voting for Mormons has spiked since Mitt Romney's first presidential bid in 2007 — and that the people most wary of Mormon candidates are not Evangelicals, but rather political liberals and non-religious voters, according to new research from a leading scholar of anti-Mormon attitudes.

The overall increase in anti-Mormon attitudes among liberals may be an unanticipated consequence of the "the continuing candidacy of Mitt Romney and Mormon activism against same-sex marriage," the study suggests. And its findings may be alarming to the Romney campaign because among the study's other findings is that voters' perceptions of Mormonism are closely tied to whether they'll vote for him.

According to American National Election Studies, nearly 35 percent of national respondents said in February they were "less likely" to vote for a Mormon. That's up nine points from 2007, when Pew found 26 percent of voters expressing concern about pulling the lever for a Latter-day Saint.

The uptick in anti-Mormon voter attitudes may come as a surprise to those who predicted Romney's candidacy would have a mainstreaming effect on his faith. But as University of Sydney scholar David Smith, the paper's author, writes, just as President Obama's successful candidacy didn't put an end to tense race relations in America, Romney's political assent hasn't cured the country of anti-Mormonism. In fact, as the data shows, Romney's rise may have lead to increased anxiety about his religion among his natural political opponents.

"Aversion to Mormons is still an important foce in American public opinion, and one that seriously affects Romney's chances even if he ultimately overcomes it," Smith writes in his paper.

Don't you just love this? Even if Romney wins, he loses according to this 'conventional wisdom'! And from someone who appears to have made something of a career writing about the supposed evils or Mormons.

Buzzfeed also gives itself plenty of wiggle room, saying there's an important caveat: 'the survey data was collected in late February and early March — in the heat of the Republican primaries.'

Which of course doesn't answer the main question - why did Buzz feed find this dated survey whose results they're qualifying with all their might so worthy of attention? I mean, is it really newsworthy that a lot of secular leftists have very little good to say about any religion...except maybe Islam?

Three guesses.

Once again, if Mitt Romney's religion is fair game, so is Barack Obama's 20 year attendance in Reverend Wright church and his embrace of Black Liberation theology.

If there's going to be a mud fight, let's all play.

A Bridge Too Far: CAIR Versus Bare Naked Islam

I note with interest a PR wire sent out by the The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) boasting that they had taken down an 'anti-Islam hate site'. The site in question is Bare Naked Islam. ( h/t memeorandum)

CAIR's PR wire is entitled "CAIR Asks FBI to Probe Internet Threats to Mosques" and they cite their successful attempt to have Wordpress shut the site down.

Predictably, a collective shriek went through the blogosphere, starting with Jim Hoft over at Gateway Pundit and there were a multitude of calls to 'boycott sharia compliant Wordpress.'

I doubt this will make me any friends, but I don't support that action at all, and I think it's worth the time to explain why.

I don't need to tell my regular readers what I think of CAIR. The information that came out in the Holy Land Federation trial on CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood fronts should have been enough to shut them down permanently and provide jail sentences for a number of their members, and that's exactly what would have happened if the Obama Department of Justice hadn't filed Disinclination to Prosecute briefs in what were likely open and shut cases, letting the Islamists walk free.

But in this case, I took an actual look at the content CAIR was protesting before joining the hue and cry.

It's a screen shot of what appears to be an actual page from Bare Naked Islam's site, and if that was what was actually running there, CAIR was entirely within their rights to voice their concern and bring to to WordPress's attention.

The page in question celebrates a graffiti attack on a French mosque with the text "Whoo Hoo! Will the Muslims ever get a clue they aren't welcome in France?"

The comments are even worse, with many of them calling for the burning of mosques 'with the asslifters inside of them.' Others call for violent attacks on Muslims. You can find the page and the comments at the above link.

If that was truly what BNI was allowing on their site, ( and I wouldn't put it past CAIR to manufacture something like this) the site owner definitely crossed the line. The Supreme Court has made it quite clear on a number of occasions that free speech ends when it comes to bodily harm and mayhem. That's exactly how neo-Nazi Tom Metzger's conviction was upheld - because of messages on his answering machine urging violence on various ethnic groups he didn't care for. When you provide a forum for this kind of violent hatred, you are past protected speech and yelling fire in a crowded theater.

I would also add that as far as I'm concerned, the site owner had a responsibility to monitor the comments. The fact that the owner didn't gives credence to the appearance that the owner not only didn't disagree, but supported and approved using the site as a forum for those kind of sentiments.

There is plenty to be said about Islamist infiltration in America, about jihad, about creeping sharia, about the threat of Islamists and Salafists to our civilization, and I've said it here more than once. But to call for the butchering of innocent people praying in a mosque is simply evil. In fact, it's exactly how jihadis treat churches in places like Nigeria, Pakistan and Indonesia.

And speaking just for myself,I consider that not only irresponsible but morally reprehensible.

It's also stupid, because it plays right into the Islamist's hands.

It's not well known, but a fair number of domestic jihad terrorist attacks here in America have been thwarted because an American Muslim saw or heard something in a mosque, overheard a conversation, saw something that didn't look or feel right and reported it to the authorities, often at risk to themselves.

They did it out of simple decency, which is the frame where the majority of people operate ordinarily. But they also did it because they realized that every jihad attack here in America reflected on them as Muslims and threatened their continued existence as free citizens in a free country.

It works exactly the same way for the kind of material I saw on that Bare Naked Islam page. It allows Islamists like CAIR to use it to shut down legitimate criticism of Islamism and jihad, it gives credence to the constant whining about Islamophobia and most importantly, it allows them to go to Muslims who may not support CAIR's agenda and raise money and support from them, saying: 'You see why you need us? You see now how we were right all along?'

A friend asks 'do you really think it's worth losing their site over?' That's not my decision to make. But if what CAIR linked to was what was actually appearing on Bare Naked Islam and not manufactured, then as far as I'm concerned, Wordpress was well within their rights to decide that they didn't want to be associated with that kind of material, and to invite the owners of Bare Naked Islam to take their content elsewhere.

It's a decision I would have made myself, CAIR or no CAIR. There's real danger in getting so blinded by hatred that you become what you despise without realizing it.

The devil of our lesser nature inside all of us laughs out loud at that kind of self-inflicted wound.

When Rabbis Turn Bigot

Denver Bronco's Quarterback Tim Tebow is one notorious fellow these days.Imagine...someone who not only made fools out of his critics in the best way possible, but is *gasp!* a believing Christian who openly professes his faith and is unashamed about it.

Apparently that was just too much for Rabbi Joshua Hammerman.He wrote an amazing bigoted screed in the publication Jewish Week ( since pulled from both Jewish Week and his blog, but Yid With Lid has it here) saying that if Tebow, who he refers to as "a poster boy of the Christian right" led the Broncos to the Superbowl, Christian mobs would be indulging in "burning mosques, bashing gays and indiscriminately banishing immigrants."

According to Rabbi Hammerman, a Broncos Superbowl victory would "give fodder to a Christian revivalism that has already turned the Republican presidential race into a pander-thon to social conservatives, rekindling memories of those cultural icons of the ‘80s, the Moral Majority and “Hee Haw.” "

From the above, you can tell exactly whom Rabbi Hammerman is pretty easily....a self-identified, hate-filled 'progressive' who heads a left leaning synagogue in a deep blue state, a member of the George Soros funded J-Street Rabbinical council and undoubtedly part of Rabbis for Obama, which he means he was likely one of the rabbis partaking in one of those conference calls with the Dear Leader telling him how to work talking points for ObamaCare and voting Democrat into his High Holidays sermons. In other words, George Soros and the Left own him body and soul.

As far as I'm concerned, after what he wrote, it's a testimony to what a force for good Christianity is in this country and how tolerant most Americans are of their Jewish fellow citizens that some of those Christians he demonized didn't react violently to his poisonous diatribe.One can only imagine what would have happened if he had written the same thing about a Muslim athlete. But Christians?They represent a soft and easily maligned target.

Both Rabbi Hammerman and Jewish Week - a notoriously left leaning publication, where Rabbi Hammerman and his ilk are regular contributors - ran apologies after they saw the reaction this got, from Christians and from Jews who have stopped drinking the Kool-Ade. Rabbi Hammerman's 'apology' in particular was an afterthought as his initial smirking reaction ( also since removed) was: "my Tebow piece is generating the expected outrage from the evangelical right (cant' wait for Jews to begin chiming in!)".

As far as I'm concerned, both apologies were inadequate.

There's an old Chassidic story about a Jew in a small village in Poland who passed rumors and slandered the local rabbi and later found out what he had said was totally unjustified. Approaching the rabbi, the man apologized and asked how he could repair the damage he had done.

The rabbi instructed him to take a pillow filled with feathers and walk to the top of a local hill with him. When they reached the top the rabbi instructed him to cut it open.

After the feathers had scattered, the rabbi then told the man to gather them back up and replace them in the pillow case. "That would be impossible rabbi", the man replied.

"Yes", the rabbi told him, "And it will likewise be impossible to repair the damage you have done to me."

One of Judaism's central tenets is to avoid Lashon Hara, literally 'an evil tongue'. Perhaps they skipped that concept where Rabbi Hammerman went to seminary.

As a Jew and a non-football fan, it not only embarrasses me that someone with the temerity to style himself 'rabbi' would write this sort of thing, but it also strikes me as the height of ingratitude.

America, by and large has always blessed its Jews, as opposed to Europe. There has always been a certain amount of Jew hatred present, but the difference was that is was never a matter of law, never a matter of government policy. There were never ghettos where Jews were literally locked inside at sundown, and no quasi-legal pogroms in America as there were in Europe,with the police turning a blind eye while Jews were raped, pillaged and slaughtered.

Even in the 1920's and later, when there were de facto quotas on admitting Jews to universities and restrictions on buying homes in many areas, when many major firms in law, insurance, and manufacturing refused to hire them, America always provided its Jewish citizens with a way upward.

They were always free to worship as they chose, and have been since George Washington wrote a letter to the Jewish congregation in Newport Rhode Island saying that the children of Abraham would always be welcome here.

Most Jews have amply repaid that generosity of spirit, and the role of America's great and accomplished in every field reflects a contribution that far outweighs their numbers. It even extended to popular culture. Back when the Jews actually owned Hollywood, they made movies that celebrated not only America's history and its greatness but its Judeo-Christian roots. It was a Russian Jewish child who witnessed his family's home being burned to the ground in a pogrom who later immigrated to America and went on to write not only "God Bless America" but "White Christmas" and "Easter Parade".

But then, there are Jews like Joshua Hammerman.

The normal reaction of a man of G-d to a young athlete whose fame is based on his courage in openly showing his gratitude and his allegiance to the Almighty no matter what anyone thinks about it would be admiration and applause.

But then, Rabbi Hammerman's true allegiance isn't to G-d, but to the Left.

Since my Christian friends are unlikely to get the teshuvah ( repentence) and apology from Joshua Hammmerman they deserve, please allow me to apologize humbly in his stead from the bottom of my heart. He is a bigot and an embarrassment to my faith, and indeed to the Judeo-Christian values of America most of us hold dear.

I realize many of you will forgive him, but I can't. Unlike those famous Romans, he knew exactly what he was doing.

The Song Of Norway's Ambassador To Israel

Norwegian Ambassador to Israel Svein Sevje discusses the history of Jews in Norway and the relationship between Norway and Israel ( hat tip Norway, Israel and the Jews via Tundra Tabloids) .

Norway, Israel and the Jews points out that the ambassador is rather figures challenged when it comes to what happened to Norway's Jews during the Holocaust, but to me the ambassador's most revealing comments come when he portrays Norway as a tolerant, pro-Israel country who only turned against Israel after the '67 war.

It’s not fair in my opinion to demonize Norway as a whole because of what occurred during the Shoah, when they were under Nazi occupation.But it is fair to note that Norway was and is an historically anti-Semitic country, and attitudes towards Jews and Israel go a long way back.

Aside from a few ‘useful’ merchants, Jews were legally banned from Norway and the handful allowed to reside there had their movements severely restricted. This continued after Norway’s independence; no Jews were legally allowed to enter until 1851 and a number of suspected Jews or people suspected of Jewish ancestry were even deported.

Even after 1851, Norway still allowed hardly any Jews to emigrate and deliberately framed its immigration laws to keep them out. This was largely because the Jews were stereotyped in public opinion as criminals, subversives and freeloaders, something that's almost comical in view of a significant part of the Muslim immigration Norway encourages today.

Norway had a large fascist movement in the early 20th century, and was one of the first countries in Europe to officially ban schechita, Jewish kosher slaughter in 1929. As a prominent member of parliament said at the time, “If they don’t like it, let them go live somewhere else.” That ban remains in place today, while Muslim halal slaughter is legal as is the slaughter of seals, whales and other animals that are protected by international treaties.

As in other parts of Europe, the Nazis found enough pro-Nazi anti-Semites to do the work of rounding up the Jews for them, and as in other parts of Europe, a far smaller number of people made a personal and courageous decision not to collude with that agenda. But Norway's historic anti-Semitism made the Nazis' work a great deal easier as opposed to the other Scandinavian countries, and it's inherently dishonest of the ambassador to gloss over it.

His statement about how things 'changed' after the 1967 War is also particularly revealing. How inconvenient of Israel's Jews to have survived an attempt at genocide!

As for Norway's Labor Party, make no mistake that Israel's affiliation with America and the West had a great deal to do with that change in attitude. If Israel had rejected allying itself with America and become a socialist people's republic and part of the Soviet sphere of influence, I guarantee you the Left world wide would be singing its praises the way they do Cuba.

The original Norwegian attitude towards Jews was shaped predominantly by Christian anti-semitism. Like Mohammed, Martin Luther became a raging anti-Semite once the Jews let him know they were perfectly happy with the religion they had, thank you.

Today, it’s the height of irony that as the country becomes less Christian, the Left wing secular Labor government is demonizing Jews and Israel while importing Muslims wholesale who mostly hold the country’s culture in contempt and are a bigger danger to Norway’s freedom,prosperity and peace than the Jews ever were.

The New Democrat Target...Now It's Michele Bachmann's Turn To Be Demonized

To those of you who thought Sarah Palin was too damaged by the Obama media hit teams to be a viable candidate, my response has always been that they were going to turn their guns on anyone and try to destroy them just as they did Governor Palin if they felt they were threatening President Obama's re-election. It's how the Angry Left operates.

Proof of the point surfaces today as Rep. Bachmann surges in the polls, with a barely literate, hate crazed rant in Rolling Stone that focuses on Michele Bachmann's religion her family, and her 'batsh*t crazy views" by one Matt Taibbi. The illustration below should save you the trouble of actually reading this trash.



Odd isn't it, how the Left is so anxious to accuse anyone they disagree with of racism and bigotry yet is so eager to practice it themselves.

To give you an idea of Taibbi's mentality, here's a quote from an appearance he put in promoting the Bachmann hit piece on Wednesday’s “Imus in the Morning” program:

“Actually, yeah, I’m actually kind of rooting for her to win the nomination, because I can’t wait to see the porn movies that they make,” Taibbi said. “Bachmann-inspired films are going to be great.I mean, who didn’t see ‘Nailin’ Palin’ – that was classic cinema.”

Taibbi appears to have unfortunately been raised without any morals or common decency whatsoever, and probably doesn't understand what's wrong about portraying someone's devoted wife and mother in that fashion. I'm sure Todd or Track Palin or Michele Bachmann's husband Marcus or her sons Lucas and Harrison would be charmed to explain it to Mr. Taibbi in a quiet area somewhere up close and in person exactly what they find offensive about that viewpoint.

Heck, Piper Palin could probably have him screaming for mercy.

Notice that they're not attacking Mitt Romney much? It's because they don't consider him a threat, and are holding their bile until they see if he actually gets the nomination. Michele Bachmann? Now, she's a threat and has to be taken out early.

"The Book Of Mormon" - Artistically Sanctioned Bigotry

There's a new musical out right now entitled "The Book Of Mormon" that's been quite successful on Broadway. The show was created by South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and has garnering a large share of Tony Awards while the soundtrack, which includes songs like "Turn It Off" and the particularly foul "Joseph Smith American Moses" is at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I haven't seen the play, nor will I. Listening to the soundtrack and seeing a few short promo clips told me everything I need to know about this particular piece of work.

As a Jew, I easily recognize demonization done in the guise of 'humor' when I see it. What the creators of 'The Book of Mormon' have done is to create a modern day minstrel show, complete with all the cute little bits of bigotry disguised by catchy tunes and cute dialog.

Particularly vicious 'fun is made of the Mormon's prophets, their missionary work and their history, and I don't think it's at all a coincidence that we just happen to have a member of the LDS as the Republican frontrunner and the possible nominee to run against Barack Obama.

The Mormons have endured hateful bigotry during their history in America, including the lynching of their prophet, Joseph Smith. Their reaction was to pick up and move across country into unknown territory where they could worship as they chose and to create a New Zion in the middle of the wilderness by the Great Salt Lake, one they built themselves from scratch. Instead of living on their knees or accepting defeat, they pioneered, triumphed and prospered. And again, as a Jew that is something I can relate to.

It was and is a uniquely heroic part of our American story, and to mock it the way "The Book Of Mormon" does is simply disgraceful.

Not only is this blatant bigotry, it's cowardice as well. I guarantee you that Trey Parker, Matt Stone and the other people associated with this garbage would never dare put on a similar show like this about Islam entitled "The Qu'ran".

There are a fair amount of members of the LDS in my particular neck of the woods,including my congressman, Buck McKeon. The ones I know are almost universally hard working, self-sufficient, and patriotic, with strong values and close knit families who make ideal neighbors.

As such, I guess they make an easy target.

For what it's worth, I stand with them. They do a great deal more for the country and are a lot more valuable than the sort of people who produced a horror like "The Book of Mormon", who I'd say ought to be ashamed of themselves if I even remotely thought they had the capacity.

The Company One Keeps

There is an extraordinary effort being made by the Barack Obama campaign and his adherents in the dinosaur media to revile people for the attention being paid to certain Disciples of the Faith.

"McCarthyism" they scream. "Racism! Guilt by association! How dare you bring that up!"

Now, I'm the last person to condemn someone because of his casual associations, or something a member of his family did that may or may not have anything to do with them personally. But I think it's perfectly legitimate to notice that a number of Obama's boosters have a certain...smell...about them.

In many cases, we're not talking about casual associations, but people Obama directly sought out by choice and has had ongoing relationships with. In other cases, we're talking about people Obama may not have had much to do with directly, or who's views Obama might claim not to be 100% in sync with, but whom are still supporting him. And it's quite proper to consider why.

If certain groups and individuals are supporting someone, it stands to reason there's a reason, if you get my drift.

And that's not guilt by association, but a legitimate piece of data to consider as we prepare to hire a Chief Executive and Commander in Chief.

These associations fit right in with Obama's pastor of choice for two decades, Jeremiah Wright and his courting of ex-WeatherMen terrorists Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dorhn when he wanted their endorsement to give him authentic radical Left cred when he was starting out in politics.

So, let's look at some of these other folks:

First, there's John Conyers, (D-MI) who is going around the country campaigning for Obama.
Conyers,who's district includes that quaint ouptpost of Islam known as Dearbornistan is beloved by CAIR and the MPAC as a congressman because of his steadfastly anti-Israel voting record, and because of a bill he introduced in Congress, HR 288 that would have singled out Islam for special treatment and opened the way to criminalize any criticism of it.

He's also the wack job that chaired the infamous mock impeachment of President Bush in the White House basement, which turned into a gutter level anti-Semitic fiesta, and his latest project is to call for reparations by the United States for slavery.

Next, we have the Reverend Eric Lee of the Southern Christian Leadership Council. His particular claim to fame was a vicious anti-Semitic diatribe aimed at a Jewish philanthropist named Daphna Ziman, who was at a charity banquet being honored for her work with at risk black children that was literally crawling with Los Angeles politicians..who of course, either conveniently left early or claimed they 'weren't paying attention.'

After opening by thanking Jesus for Barack Obama, "who is going to be the leader of the world" Lee went into a diatribe that would have done credit to Louis Farrakhan or Malcolm X,back in the day:



At first,Reverend Lee denied it.(Some people that were present and were paying attention have corroborated Ms. Ziman's story, and I personally know her repute as one not given to flights of imagination). Then, he apologized for what he first claimed to not have said. And then he claimed his remarks were 'misunderstood' by the cwazy Jew lady.

He's still proselytizing for Obama as part of the campaign, without any problems whatsoever.

Then there's some well known figures; Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, Harry Belafonte,who called Colin Powell and Condalezza Rice 'house servants', broadcaster Randi Rhodes of Air America, who went on the air and told US troops to desert and called for a sitting president of the United States to be whacked like Fredo in 'The GodFather', leftoid actress Susan Sarandon, and Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter's laughable National Security Advisor and now holding the same position in Obama's campaign.There's Barack Obama’s official campaign blogger, Sam Graham-Felsen, a hardline Marxist and a groupie of the Stalinist Socialist Worker's Party.

There's Michael Moore, who endorsed Obama just the other day, John Kerry who arguably committed treason against his own country while in uniform during wartime, George Soros, and most of the bigwigs at CAIR.

For that matter, there's Hamas.

There's Hatem El-Hady, the ex- chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic `charity', Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising. These days, he's doing fundraising for Obama, and lists Michelle Obama as a 'friend' on his Facebook page.

I could go on ad naseum, but I think you get the message.It's quite a group.

Now there are lots of other people who are mesmerized by Jesus II. Some of them just like the idea of a black man as president, regardless of why..it just seems so liberal and liberated. Others just like the fervor of the manufactured Hope and Change mantra.

But there are an awful lot of racist, radical Leftist and Islamist ideologues who wouldn't endorse somebody unless they felt that by doing so, they were furthering their objectives.

Are you beginning to see what I mean by a certain smell?

The thing about Barack Obama is that when it comes to getting into power, he could care less. He'd rather just gloss over these things and hope nobody notices the stench. As a matter of fact, he's demanding we take no notice of the stink.

He just wants to have it both ways, and eat his waffles.
