Jihadis Guilty In Major UK Plot - Targeted Stock Exchange, Mayor's Home, Rabbi's Homes
Four jihadis pled guilty today in a London courthouse to to planning a terrorist attack on the London Stock Exchange, Mayor Boris Johnson's home and the homes of two London rabbis.
Mohammed Chowdhury, 21; Shah Rahman, 28; Gurukanth Desai, 30; and Abdul Miah, 25, all pled guilty at Woolwich Crown Court in London today, and five other men involved in the conspiracy pled guilty to other terrorist offenses.
They were arrested back in December 2010 in a large-scale anti-terrorist raid by Scotland Yard that drew massive criticism from the Muslim Council of Britain.All of them are British citizens.
Chowdhury and Rahaman were apparently the leaders. There were also plans to send mail bombs prior to hitting the main targets and launching a “Mumbai-style” attack on London.
The group is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
