4 Palestinians shot in Gaza gunfight between Hamas and Fatah

The Beast claims some more victims...4 Palestinians were shot today when Hamas goombahs fired on a Fatah rally in Khan Younis, Gaza today and Fatah gunmen took them on in a full blown shootout.

The gunfight happened after Palestinian cappo del tutti Abbas ordered his security forces to deploy across Gaza after three sons of one of his supporters were killed yesterday on their way to school.

In this particular turf war, Abbas is at a supreme disadvantage, since Hamas has the boots on the ground in Gaza....and probably in the West Bank as well.

Abbas is being urged to dissolve the Hamas government and call for new elections by his Fatah supporters. Hamas has said (and rightly, in my view) that this would amount to a coup d'etat. Theyare urging Abbas to resign and want new presidential elections.

It may take some time, but eventually, people will realize that one of the major roadblacks to Middle East peace, starting with Oslo and the empowerment of Yasir Arafat was the notion that a second Arab Palestinian state was a step in the right direction.
