Remember, nothing is ever his fault.
President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s website today.
“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.
“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” Obama said in his most direct comments on how race has affected his political standing since he’s been in office.
No...really? Of course utter incompetence, fiscal irresponsibility, ObamaCare and scandals like Benghazi, Fast and Furious and using the IRS as his personal goon squad have nothing to do with anything.
This is his response to a Gallup poll rating of 39% approval, 53% disapproval.
Must be raa-aa-acism. When in doubt, pull out the card. It's certainly worked well so far.
Me? I'd say, to paraphrase Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., that this president is upset over being judged by the content of his character..but he blames it on his skin color.

Actually this is a welcome development. His use of the race card indicates just how desperate he is and that he has nothing left to throw at us.
Actually the "flip side" is fully 100% accurate. As for not approving of him because of he is African-America, this has nothing to do with it.
Fast and Furious, Benghazi, using the IRS to target "conservative" groups, etc. have minimal to no effect on Mr. Obama's approval rating as they have little effect on the populace as a whole. The single biggest effect on his popularity rating has been many Americans seeing their health insurance policies canceled or seeing their insurance rates, in many cases, double in cost.
Most Americans are just barely getting by anyway and then to cause their health insurance policies to be canceled or their premiums double is going to adversely affect one's approval rating as it has an adverse effect on so many people unlike the other scandals.
I do find the reality of the situation quite interesting. The reality is that George W. Bush never inflicted the kind of pain on the American people that "Obamacare"/ACA has. Yet the disapproval for Mr. Obama has never risen to the kind of hatred that the American people had for George W. Bush by the time he left office.
Does this mean the American people are racists against whites? Perhaps it does. As stated earlier, the "flip side" that Mr. Obama apparently mentions is an important factor keeping his approval rating where it is and is very likely preventing him from being impeached. "White guilt" is a very important part of the American psyche.
