“I don’t think we ought to get into the position where we say this is bad work; this is good work,” Clinton said, adding: “There’s no question that, in terms of getting up, going to the office, and basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who’s been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold.”
Clinton urged the Obama campaign to instead focus on contrasting its vision for the country with Romney’s. His comments came at the tail end of a day in which another Obama surrogate, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D), called Bain a “a perfectly fine company.”
Obama’s campaign has shifted its message from attacking Bain’s handling of certain companies to talking broadly about how being in the private equity business doesn’t prepare one to be president. But Clinton’s comments appear to undermine both arguments.
He’s saying both that Romney’s business career is an asset, and that when it’s combined with his term as governor, there’s little doubt that he’s qualified to be president.
In the end, the result of the Obama campaign’s focus on Bain has been little-to-no traction in the polls and what has become a highlight reel of Democratic heavies praising both Bain and Romney’s business career.
One has to wonder how much longer it will continue.

Mr. Clinton's wife is working for hte Obama Administration in a very important position as Secretary of State. She's been fully committed to the success of the Mr. Obama and his Administration and she's abandoned all prospects of public office herself in order to commit herself to the success of the Obama Administration.
Did Mr. Clinton not get the message? Has Mrs. Clinton suddenly done a complete change after being so committed to the Obama Administration for so long? I would expect Mr. Obama and his team to try and ascertain what is going on here.
If she has changed her mind about support for Mr. Obama, then I'd expect Mr. Obama to fire her forthwith. Furthermore after being so committed to the Obama Administration for so long, what caused her to change her mind? Was she spurned? Did she not realize how incompetent and out of his depth this POTUS actually is until now? Regardless the answer, if her judgement is that poor, she clearly cannot be trusted with public office and she especially cannot be trusted with a position as vital as that of POTUS.
For what its worth I think Mr. Clinton likely just went out on his own and made these statements. I've always thought the relationship between Mr. and Mrs. Clinton to be a strange one. Maybe they are just not communicating.
Regarding Mr. Romney's experience at Bain Capital, as I understand it, Bain would buy out struggling companies and either turn them around or liquidate them, selling off the assets and returning at least something to the investors. The skill sets involved in this type of work are exactly what America needs right now.
Essentially we have a government that is as broke as any company that Bain would buy up. The government needs to be streamlined, departments closed, and assets sold to the private sector in order for America to survive. If Mr. Romney can duplicate his results at Bain and apply them to the Federal government then our country might just stand a chance to survive, if its not already to late, which it may very well be.
Perhaps God sent us Mitt Romney for a time such as this. We shall see.
