Israel Arrests Suspects In Connection With Murder Of Arab Teen

So far, (and I emphasize 'so far') it looks like it wasn't a Pallywood production, although details are still sketchy. And it appears to be a criminal action rather than anything political.

Israeli police have arrested six suspects in the murder of Mohammed Abu Khadr. All six are Jews living in Israeli communities behind the Green Line and are not residents of Judea and Samaria, as the Arabs who identify themselves as Palestinians and the self-flagellating Israeli Left were hoping. Nor are they religious Jews, as anyone familiar with that community knew instinctively. Instead, the perpetrators could basically be classified as football hooligans belonging to a loose group known as 'La Familia' who root for the Beitar Jerusalem soccer team. Reportedly, the six are mostly members of an extended family, and live in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, and the town of Adam in the Binyamin region.

According to Israel's Channel Ten news, police were allowed to extend the remand (custody) of five of the six for eight days. The sixth one will remain in custody for five days. The police are also reporting that the six “connected themselves” to the incident. Channel Two said that one of the six confessed to the crime and implicated the others.

It's important to remember than no one has been charged yet, let alone proven guilty. But if the police actually have the killers in hand, there's something important that needs to be said.

Unlike the Palestinians, Israel doesn't refer to people like this as 'holy martyrs', or pay them a salary for murdering. They won't be naming streets or public buildings for them, or holding them up as tole models for Israel's children. No Israeli mother is going to be talking about how proud she is of her son if they're convicting of this murder. Israel actually arrests people like this, Arab or Jew, gives them a fair trial and if they're convicted, sentences them and imprisons them (Israel has no death penalty). That's why the fake 'equivalence' between the kidnap and murder of Israeli teens Naftali Frenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gilad Sha'ar and the murder of Mohammed Abu Khadr is a foul perversion of truth and morality.PM Netanyahu made this crystal clear, to his credit:

 Binyamin Netanyahu

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday that the Palestinian Authority (PA) must locate the terrorists who abducted and murdered three Jewish teens on June 12, just as Israel located the murderers of Arab teen Mohammed Khder of Shuafat in a few days' time.

Netanyahu was visiting the Frenkel family in Nof Ayalon. Their son, Naftali, 16, was murdered by Hamas terrorists along with Eyal Yifrah, 19, and Gilad Sha'ar, 16, by Hamas terrorists who are on the run.

"We will carry out the full extent of punishment with the murderers who carried out this shocking crime, which deserves every denunciation and condemnation,” he said about the murderers of Abu Khder. “These murderers do not belong in Israeli society.”

"We do not distinguish between [Arab] terror and [Jewish] terror,” he added.

The Palestinian Authority (let alone Hamas)has never put anyone in prison for murdering a Jew.Instead, they make heroes out of them and pay them a salary.

Israel is different. If these Jews carried out this despicable murder, they will be dealt with by a country where laws apply equally to all Israel's citizens. If they're convicted, I'm sure the usual suspects will attempt to use this one instance as an excuse and an equivalence for the literally hundreds of attacks on Jewish civilians in Israel and the way Hamas and the Palestinian Authority react to them.

That's fine. But by doing so, they're acknowledging openly that they're guilty of the rankest form of Jew hatred.
