Funny! ObamaBot Grasps At Straws To Try To Paint Romeny As 'Anti-Israel'
This one's so funny I just can't let it go by...here's the headline by BuzzFeed's Zeke Miller ( believe me, no relation) :
Romney: America Is No Kibbutz - His ties to Israel only extend so far.
The story? Here it is, in its entirety:
Mitt Romney bills himself as an ardent friend of Israel running against President Barack Obama who hasn't visited the American ally since taking the oath of office, but Romney's friendship only extends so far.
At a fundraiser today in Chicago — barely a week after visiting the Holy Land — Romney took a shot at the Israeli Kibbutz movement, a product of the early socialist zionist movement and integral to the story of the founding of the State of Israel.
“It’s individuals and their entrepreneurship which have driven America," Romney said. "What America is not a collective where we all work in a Kibbutz or all in some little entity, instead it’s individuals pursuing their dreams and building successful enterprises which employ others and they become inspired as they see what has happened in the place they work and go off and start their own enterprises.”
Whyat an absolute tool..
If Zeke Miller actually knew anything about Israel, he'd know that Israel is one of the most ardently entrepreneurial countries in the world, with more NASDAQ companies listed than anywhere else except the U.S.
Most Israelis regard the early, socialist kibbutzim as economic failures and a thing of the past, and the ones that are left have become increasingly involved in private enterprise, tourism, or even, in some cases, become mere housing arrangements where the members contribute all or part of the wages from their outside jobs to maintain common facilities and grounds.
America isn't a kibbutz and neither is Israel. So tell me, Zeke, how does this remark show distance by Mitt Romney from his friendship for Israel? The answer of course, is that it doesn't...except in the mind of an ObamaBot.
I say this again to my fellow Jews...if you absolutely can't pull the lever for a pro-Israel Republican, at least don't vote to put an anti-Israel president back in the White House. My Democrat-for-life parents did exactly that when Carter ran against Reagan...they voted, but just not for president.

My god. You bigots are sick!
I am still waiting for you or anyone else to make a tangible, factual complaint about Barack Obama's Israel policy.
If you have something solid, please comment it.
Otherwise, perhaps its time for Obama haters like you to do a little soul searching. I suggest you start by asking yourself a series of questions such as this: Why do I continue with the lie that Obama hates Israel, when I can't defend this point of view with any facts? Is it because I am a racist? Is Or am I merely guilty of putting my unfounded emotions before genuine facts?
Didn't you know your cancervative god, Ray-Gun, NEVER stepped foot in Israel? NEVER!

Why do I think President Obama has a 'problem' with Israel?
Gee I dunno.
Could it be the anti-semites he's been so intimately associated with like Rashid Khalidi, Khalid al-Mansour, Bill Ayers, Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright, just to name a few?
Could it be his giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to outright Jew haters like Bishop Tutu an Mary Robinson?
Could it be his empowering of the genocidal Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood?
Or maybe, just maybe all this stuff?
Personally, I hope President Obama never goes to Israel, ever. He has no understanding of what Israel means to America, to human freedom or to Jews, and he would profane it with his presence. It's damaging enough he's our president.
As for you...well you can lie to yourself and pretend, but you can't lie to me or to my readers.Digest what I've linked here, and you might just get the glimmer of an answer.
Although probably not.
Be ashamed of yourself. If it's possible.
So Obama hates Israel because he has either met or knows people who don't like Israel. Or because he gave a medal to Tutu, a hero in the fight against apartheid and the spread of AIDS.
That's pretty weak, even by your standards. How about actual policies that he put in place? Maybe you could link to some actual news sites that state such policies? Linking to yourself tells me nothing, considering you get your facts backwards most of the time. If Obama is so terrible on Israel (and he seems to me to be the typical gung-ho Israel president we always get), how about you do some actual research and back up your claim with tangible proof that goes beyond guilt by association? You're not going to convince anyone with your thin argument and lack of proof. And your default position of insulting the messenger doesn't exactly help your cause.
I've seen a parade of Israeli politicians and defense ministers say that Obama is the best friend Israel has ever had. If you can't prove them wrong, why the hell do you have a blog?
I'm eager to learn more about why Obama is so bad for Israel but, as of now, you come across as someone who is trying to square your hatred of Obama with what is essentially a pro-Israel presidency.
Charles Krauthammer said it best, ''Anyone who thinks Obama is pro-Israel must have been in a coma for the last 4 years.''
Anonymous above must still be in a coma.
Roland, if you're incapable of recognizing a long pattern of close associations and actions, and especially if you're incapable of of clicking on the links I supplied and reading what's there, then you're apparently not capable of what I'd call simple cognizance, let alone any intellectual honesty.
And as such, a waste of my time.
Well Said, Rob.
An old W.C. Fields joke line comes to mind, about the inadvisability of attempting to teach a pig to sing.
Not only does one waste one's efforts, but it annoys the pig!
Obviously, attempting to trade logic with true believers such as Roland and the Anonymous near the top of the thread would certainly qualify.
Roland, what can you be thinking? Of course Israeli politicians and military figures can be relied on to say only properly diplomatic things about a sitting president of the United States!
Sad, really, what some people can be persuaded to believe.
i think it's funny the way roland states the people ff references don't matter, then two paragraphs later states everyone he has seen/heard does matter.
ipse dixit.
