The NYT does it again...

What would we ever do without the Paper of Refuse? Or more accurately, what would our country's enemies do without it? I can just picture Zawahiri, Ahmadinejad and Osama doing an ad for them "...it's all the news we need!"

Today's Times leaked confidential data on the scrutiny of bank records of people suspected of involvement in terrorism by the Pentagon, the CIA, FBI and other intelligence organizations.

You'd think that even the brainiacs who work at the Paper of Refuse could see the necessity of tracking the money trail as a tool to stop foreign money from funding terrorism here and to keep money from the US from going to people like Hezbollah and al Qaeda.

Vice President Cheney was actually forced to go public to explain this..not that it matters to people with this mentality.

"It's a perfectly legitimate activity. There's nothing wrong with it or illegal. It doesn't violate civil rights,'' Cheney said. "And if an institution that receives one of these . . . disagrees with it, they're free to go to court to try to stop its execution."

But never let it be said that the New Order in Congress isn't on the ball. The new chairman of the House Intelligence committee, Rep. Silvestre Reyes, (d-TX) has promised a thorough review and investigation. Just as soon as he figures out who al Qaeda and Hezbollah are....
