What It Feels Like Being A Conservative In The Republican Party

You have a scion of a political family chiding you for not breeding enough

 

You want more of this old guy

 

You get more of this old guy instead

You’re subjected to constant abuse and name calling: “Hobbit” “Wacko Birds” and “Ridiculous“

This guy. Again.

You’re told to like a guy who will fall for anything Chuck Schumer says

You’re told to like this guy who did something conservative. Once.

When you see there’s an open seat that’s winnable you’re like:

And then the Republican Party gets involved:

You’ve been on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram for years while the GOP is like:

You know you have fighters like these:

 

But instead the GOP fights like this:

So you’re constantly repeating this phrase:

When you try to reach out to the Republican Party they’re all:

They ignore your concerns and advice:

But when election day comes around they’re all:

Everyone but you is surprised at the poor results

You can’t remember why you joined the Republican party in the first place

But then it comes back to you:

And you realize that after all the abuse and incompetency-one day-you’ll hit back:

And that day will come in 2014. Saddle up, Cons. We ride at dawn.
