Today, in honor of Purim, the world's largest ever hamentaschen was baked by Friends of the IDF volunteers and Angel Bakery in Israel. It weighed in at 650 kg!
Hamentaschen are tri-cornered shaped pastries traditonally associated with the Jewish holiday of Purim, which commemorates the Jewish defeat of Hamen, the evil minister of the King of Persia who planned to exterminate them.
Will a certain Ahmadinejad turn out to be another Hamen? Stay tuned..and Happy Purim!
