“John Doe #2" In Oklahoma Bombing Arrested In Boston
Last week, Hussain Hashem al-Hussaini was arrested in the Boston suburb of Quincy, Massachusetts, on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Al-Hussaini is more than just your ordinary criminal. He was fingered a long time ago by author and investigative journalist Jayna Davis, a former reporter for KFOR-TV at the time of the bombing as the “John Doe #2” in the April 19, 1995 bombing that claimed the lives of 168 people, including 22 children.
Ms. Davis chronicled her investigation in a meticulously research book I've mentioned to you before, entitled The Third Terrorist:The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing a best seller by the former NBC investigative reporter.
You can also read excerpts here.
Whenever apologists for Islamist terrorism need to utilize the standard ten-year-old's argument of "They did it too". they normally cite Timothy McVeigh and the horrendous bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City as an example of 'Christian' terrorism.
Now, McVeigh was not a believing Christian, nor was the Murrah Building was blown up in the name of religion.
However, most people are unaware of the Middle East connection to the Oklahoma City bombing.
An investigation by the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House International Relations Committee found that convicted terrorist and Iraqi intelligence officer Ramzi Yousef, the planner of the first WTC bombing and McVeigh's co-conspirator Terry Nichols were in Cebu City in the Philippines at exactly the same time three months before the Oklahoma City bombing. Also, Ramzi Yousef’s phone records from early 1993 show calls placed to the Filipina neighbor and close friend of Terry Nichols’ in-laws in Queens, New York.
It's important to remember that both Oklahoma City and the first World Trade Center bombing took place after the Gulf war...and both involved Iraqi intel officer Youseff.
Youseff apparently financed part of the Oklahoma city operation, and reportedly Hussein-al-Husseini, an Iraqi soldier in Saddam Hussein's Army, sat with Timothy McVeigh on the day of the bombing in that famous Ryder truck that was used.
It's also worth noting that the Oklahoma City Bombing followed almost exactly the same tactics as the 1993 World Trade Center bombing —the use of a rental truck loaded with ammonium-based explosives, using similar detonation devices, based on the strategy of driving a vehicle into or near the target.
As she documents, Ms. Davis submitted twenty-two witness affidavits she compiled and to the FBI in January 1999 that, in part, connect al-Hussaini to the events of the bombing that “disappeared.” Those affidavits contain sworn statements of multiple witnesses who placed al Hussaini in the company of Timothy McVeigh prior to the bombing, exiting the rented Ryder truck that was used for the bombing, and speeding away from the area just prior to the blast.
To this day, the FBI continues to refuse to release the closed circuit camera footage that exists of McVeigh and “John Doe #2” as they exited the Ryder truck in front of the Murrah Building.
There may also be a 'Palestinian' connection. As you may remember, Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and the PLO were particularly close.
It's an interesting coincidence that at the time of the Oklahoma City bombing, Hussain al Hussaini worked for a property management company owned by a Middle Eastern businessman who was suspected of having ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization(PLO). And in the six months prior to the bombing, this man hired several former Iraqi soldiers.
My personal opinion has always been that both President Clinton and President Bush downplayed this Iraqi/Middle East connection deliberately - Clinton was fixated on ignoring the threat of Middle Eastern terrorism so that he could avoid having to deal with it, and President Bush of course was totally involved in the idea of Arab Democracy and friendship with Arab countries, something that would not have mixed well with the outrage of ordinary Americans if it were found that there was a Middle Eastern connection to Oklahoma City. And both of course, had substantial business interests in the Midle East that would have been affected by opening this can of worms.
I doubt that President Obama has any interest either in getting to the bottom of what happened that morning in 1995 either.
As you know,I'm hardly prone to wild conspiracy theories. So I invite you to look at the evidence and make your own judgment.
