Watcher's Council Nominations - "Phoney Scandals" Edition

I'm sure the families of Brian Terry, Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith and over 300 Mexicans murdered because of Fast and Furious are happy to know that.Words - polite words anyway - fail me.

Welcome to the Watcher's Council, a blogging group consisting of some of the most incisive blogs in the 'sphere, and the longest running group of its kind in existence. Every week, the members nominate two posts each, one written by themselves and one written by someone from outside the group for consideration by the whole Council. Then we vote on the best two posts, with the results appearing on Friday.

Council News:

This week, Ask Marion, Maggie's Notebook and The Pirate's Cove took advantage of my generous offer of link whorage and earned honorable mention status for some great articles

You can, too! Want to see your work appear on the Watcher’s Council homepage in our weekly contest listing? Didn’t get nominated by a Council member? No worries.

Simply head over to Joshuapundit and post the title a link to the piece you want considered along with an e-mail address ( which won't be published) in the comments section no later than Monday 6PM PST in order to be considered for our honorable mention category. Then return the favor  by creating a post on your site linking to the Watcher’s Council contest for the week when it comes out Wednesday morning.

Simple, no?

It's a great way of exposing your best work to Watcher’s Council readers and Council members on the oldest and most established blogging group in the 'sphere ...and grabbing the increased traffic and notoriety that comes with it. And how good is that, eh?

In 1947 the "Ratline" ran from the Vatican to Argentina/ The most depraved, soul less, sadistic monsters to have ever walked this benighted earth and damned it forever, including Eichmann and Ante Pavelic, the head of Croatian Ustashi, ( google that if you have the stomach) were safely smuggled to Argentina and received their share of Nazi gold. Lesser Nazi war criminals were safely scattered around the world. The West, Middle East, Australia, Canada, Britain, US and everywhere else.

Britain transferred Pavelic to the Vatican for safe keeping. He was indeed very safely kept even being driven around Italy in cars bearing Vatican plates.

Bosnian-Croatian Father Draganovic, ran the smuggling operation for his superior in the Vatican,Undersecretary of State, Giovanni Montini. He also claimed that he was a British agent.

Giovanni Montini later became Pope Paul VI.

If there has been a Bradley Manning, Julian Assange or Edward Snowden in that rats nest in the Vatican, perhaps the Nazi monsters would not have escaped justice. Then again there may have been, nut they may have been silenced with a bullet to the head.

The world that divested itself of its humanity, now seeks to silence these three young men with no blood on their hands,by incarcerating them for the rest of their lives.

All this information is from the book "The Secret War Against the Jews" by John Loftus and Mark Aarons.

Hello Stella,
I'm pretty familiar with ODESSA and with the Ustashi. As a matter of fact Pope Benedict, on a trip to Croatia made a special point of praying at the tomb of Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, who, shall we say, was not at all adverse to what happened at the hands of the Ustashi to Croatia's Serbs and Jews and was tried and convicted for collaborating with the Nazis.

That said, I don't agree with your parallels of Julian Assange, and especially Bradley Manning. Assange was merely a high grade hacker and thief while Manning was justifiably convicted of several espionage charges against the country who's uniform he wore and whom he had sworn an oath to serve.
