Warning...this is from a semi-reliable source, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true..especially since the al-Aksa martyrs Brigade who are on Abbas' payroll claimed initial credit for the murder of the Fogel family.
According to what I just heard, two members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ official, US Trained security forces were arrested by the IDF in conjunction with the murders.
They're cousins..Ahmed Awad is an officer in Abbas’ Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablus and Iyad Awad is an officer in Abbas’ General Intelligence services in Ramallah.
If this is legit, it should be public in the Israeli media within hours.

It seems unlikely they could have learned any thing useful from the US as far as how to conduct an attack. Generally America's enemies are much better trained and better led than American forces. As such, they really don't need American training to be able to carry out an attack of this type.
Now, if this is true, which I think it is, since the American government is just that blind and stupid, what this does do is it gives an enemy access to American methods of fighting which they will incorporate into their own. Having learned our methods of fighting and having incorporated them into their own should we find ourselves in a direct fight with the Palestinians they will have a HUGE advantage over us because they will know how we fight!!
If this is true, I hope that training went both ways and our people got access to advanced tactical training and weapons training from the Palestinians. Unforutnately I doubt we did. The Palestinians have a huge edge over the American side in tactical traiing. I don't see them being willing to give up this edge just because someone asks them to. Now combine advanced Palestinian tactical training with the most advanced American and European weapons and you have a force that outclasses America in pretty much every area and this force does not like America very much. Extremely stupid move on the part of the Americans but hardly surprising. This is a very dumb and unserious country right now.
Our best bet, in fact our only real option at this point, is to completely withdraw from the Middle East as quickly as our transport vehicles and ships can get our people out and pray for the best. We've completely lost any ability what so ever to influence events there.
Now something good could come of this. As I've said before, as long as the Palestinians are receiving vast sums of aid from Europe and America that has virtually no strings attached to it, they are in a huge advantage relative to Israel. As long as they enjoy such a lopsided advantage over the Israelis, there is going to be very little incentive for them to negotiate in good faith with the Israelis to achieve a viable two state solution. Now if this aid to the Palestinians went away, they would no longer possess this lopsided advantage. Once they no longer posses such a huge advantage, they just might be much more willing to negotiate in good faith. In summary, if what we really want is a two state solution, cut all aid to the Palestinians or at the very least make it conditional on good faith negotiations. In other words place the same constraints on the aid that the aid to Israel has on the aid to the Palestinians. Once this is done we would be much more likely to have the negotiated settlement for a two state solution we claim to want.
If this attack by the Palestinians will lead to a cut off in aid from Aemrica and maybe even from Europe, this would at least be a very small silver lining. If America is in some way responsible, perhaps the American government can be shamed into cutting off aid to the Palestinians. Once this happens the parties would be on much more equal footing and a "two state solution" becomes far more likely.
