Barack Hussein OBlahBlah, Philosopher King!

Yesterday I was riffing with a few of my friends about this very subject, and lo and behold...the Politico's Laura Rozen dons the kneepads and treats us to a breathless account of a lecture on Prez Zero as a 'genuine intellectual and one of the few U.S. philosopher presidents'!

The lecture, given by Harvard historian James T. Kloppenberg at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center actually did use the term 'philosopher president' which according to Kloppenberg as channeled by Rozen is a rare breed that can be found only a handful of times in American history.

“There’s John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and John Quincy Adams, then Abraham Lincoln and in the 20th century just Woodrow Wilson,” he said.

He referred to Obama's philosophy as 'pragmatism'!

Yes, you read that right. Pragmatism.

Although a real look at Obama's actions over the last two years might make 'Marxism' a more accurate term.

Rozen doesn't mention it, but just by coincidence Kloppenberg was a donor to Obama's campaign in '08.Apparently the hope n'change contact buzz hasn't worn off yet, like it has on most of the rest of us.It definitely hasn't worn off yet on loyal Journolista Laura Rozen.

Now, the next question is why exactly Rozen batted out this tripe. I assume she was actually at the lecture, but why bother to share it with the rest of us?

And then it came to me. Rozen is very well connected to the Obama White House, and the orders have gone out. This is going to be the new Obama narrative after the beat down coming next week.

Barack Hussein Obama, the Philospher-King...just too worthy and good for this world, assailed by those evil Right Wingers....

please donate...it helps me write more gooder!

this is one of those lines ff throws out sometimes that just make me lose it for the rest of the essay. he always does it at the beginning of the essay.

speaking for yourself, of course, some of us knuckle draggers never bought into it in the first place.

Well, I never bought into it either, as you know.

But I like to be inclusive.
