Fox news journalists kidnapped in Gaza
Palestinian gunmen ambushed a car carrying a Fox News crew in Gaza City on Monday and kidnapped two of the journalists inside, according to witnesses and Fox.
"We can confirm that two of our people were taken against their will in Gaza," Fox News said in a statement.
The two kidnapped journalists are reported to be Steve Centanni, a U.S. citizen, and a cameraman from New Zealand.
They were snatched while they were in a parked car near the headquarters of the Palestinian security services when two trucks filled with gunmen pulled up and boxed them in, forced the two journalists out of their SUV marked `TV' and drove away.
Kind of like being kidnapped in front of a police station..which will give you an idea of how much `security' those expensive security services provide for the Palestinian people!
Hopefully they'll be released soon. On the bright side, kidnapping foreigners is the Palestinian equivalent of a job application for underemployed gunmen, who usually want salaries from the PA as a ransom. Most of these incidents get settled within hours, once money changes hands.
Lovely people...give them a state.
