Sarkozy election leads to riots by the `youths'

Ah, the `youths'!

Upset with the democratic choice of the French people, the `youths' (code name for predominantly Muslim rioters in the French suburbs) chose to mark Sarkozy's election victory with riots in Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, Rennes and Nantes. In the Place de la Bastille, riot police needed tear gas to disperse the festive gangs of `youths', who started the action as news of Sarkozy's victory cam through.

The celebrations weren't up to the festivities last Ramadan, but the `youths' firebombed schools and recreation centers and car-b-qued an estimated 367 vehicles.

Of course, this type of street anarchy is one of the reasons the French elected Sarkozy.

We'll see what he does about it.
