Another jihadi bites the dust...

There's some excellent news out of Afghanistan today, as Taliban thug Mullah Dadullah ended up on the receiving end of a little justice, courtesy of the US military in Kandahr province in Southern Afghanistan.

Dadullah was one of Mullah Omar's chief commanders. His death, following the death of Mullah Osmani in December, robs the one-eyed Mullah Omar of two of his three most senior deputies. Mullah Obaidullah, the Taliban's senior policy maker, is the surviving senior aide.

Dadullah had a major rep as a star of jihad videos, brutality towards captives and one of the Taliban's top military commanders.

The little photo shoot above was in response to the Taliban's denying that he'd been killed, and that's fine and dandy...except they should have stuffed some bacon in his mouth as a warning to others.

Congrats to the US military for some exemplary pest control on this termite.

What's the best kind of jihadi? That's right, a dead jihadi.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

This is indeed good news. In the grand scheme this event, by itself, will not make much difference. It is but one small victory, however, a series of small victories are what will lead to success in the War on Terror. As such, we can expect the main stream media to downplay this or ignore it entirely whenever they can. While GW Bush has been the worst President in American history to date, to say the media has been unhelpful to our cause in the War on Terror would be an understatement. At some point the media needs to be held accountable for their actions. As for GW Bush, he is being held accountable. The Republicans lost their majority in the House and Senate. His Iraq policy seems to be disintigrating, and it is very likely he will face impeachment hearings very soon.
